“Perfect Getaway”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

We were delighted to be able to book a Twixmas break at such a wonderful location. Booking was simple and cost reasonable (particulalry given the lovely wee touches - like a Christmas Tree!). The accommodation is very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Everything we needed was provided. The view from the picture window and balcony overlooking the loch and surrounding hills is spectacular. We self-catered in the main but also took advantage of local eateries in Kenmore and Aberfeldy. We would love to return. The only downside (and this was beyond the owners' control) was that our return journey was marred by excessive flooding due to torrential downpours which badly affected the local roads at that time of year. Take care in the winter months and plan your journey accordingly.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. It was exceptional weather then - a shame for your return journey!

Just back home this afternoon, gutted to have spent a week in the apartment for our October break. I'm not one to return to the same place twice but this is an exception as feel we feel at home there with everything you will ever need during your stay. I have high standards when it comes to booking quality accommodation for holidays/breaks and anyone considering booking Mhairi and Derek's apartment will be blown away by it... We have already enquiried about next Easter, which will be our 4th Easter in a row!! You can do as much or as little as you want in Kenmore or the surrounding areas, my father in law who is 75 can't walk far but we managed to get him to go in a double kayak on the Loch! The view overlooking the Loch is to die for, rain, hail or shine and loved watching the world go by from the comfort of the arm chairs! The new apartments currently being built on site are no competition for this one, you can't beat a frontline location...!

Thank you so much for your review. It is always a pleasure to welcome you to our apartment and we look forward to your next visit!

“Stunning!”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2012

A stunning apartment in a stunning location! This apartment is thoughtfully furnished and finished to a very high standard with all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable. The views from the apartment never tire, whatever the weather or time of day. There is so much to do in the surrounding areas to suit all ages and abilities. There is a comprehensive folder of suggested activities and places to visit for those who are unfamiliar with the area. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday; we hope to return soon.

We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay with us at Beinn Eighe. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!
