Description

Cobblestone Cottage Is a self contained stone barn conversion which sleeps ten guests in four bedrooms.Ideal for two families to share. With parking outside for four cars.

First Floor Accommodation

One down stairs bedroom with Queen sized bed,( can be made into 2 x 3 single beds as required). There is also a downstairs wet room with shower and Doc m toilet pack also a panic alarm system, there is a intercom system between the two floors. The kitchen is fully equipped with Electric cooker, fridge-Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer, microwave. With adjoining sunroom for dinning in with views across the garden. The lounge has TV with Sky Freeview dvd player,Also a selection of games ,dvd's and books. Comfy seating for Nine guests. The Limestone built fireplace has a gas stove . From the lounge to the hallway is the staircase .

Second floor New Themed Bedrooms

3 bedrooms and a Family Bathroom

Bedroom 1 family room with one double and 2 single beds Plus TV. Bedroom 2 one double bedroom . Bedroom 3 one single bedroom.Views over garden.

Family bathroom with shower over bath.

Peaceful Rural Area with the possibility of booking 2 properties sleeping up to 14 guests,so invite your family and Friends.Cobblestone Cottage sleeps 8 people and next door Wallers Barn sleeps 6 ,with large garden area for children to run around in ,also walks from your door step.

Wifi available – Extra charge

We can provide the use of a travel cot, high chair, fireguard & stairgates, at no extra charge.

All bedding and linen is provided, with the exception of the bedding for cots.

Towels are not provided.

Max 2 dogs are permitted in this property for an extra charge ,please ask.

“Nice cottage with lovely views”

This was a very family oriantated cottage very farm like on a working farm. It was very practical and had everything you would need for 10 people. The downstairs is ability aided and has a very good wet room. The only thing stopping it getting 5 stars would be you had to pay for the gas fire on a meter and you had to pay extra for the WiFi.

Owner's reply: Hi Barbara Thanks for review ,Just to let you know the gas fire is included in the price No extra charge and I had put the Central Heating on for 8 hours.At present the only way for wifi is by voucher hopefully by next year we will have New internet from B4RN that is coming to our area ,Kind Regards Diane

“Great family holiday”

cottage was lovely and cosy. The last mile on SatNav was hard to find, but worth finding in the end. Well equipped kitchen and lots of board games and toys in the living room. (Although some games had bits missing). Good base for seeing parts of the Lakes. Plenty of outdoor space too if you get the weather. Only a short drive into Kendal or Windermere and a little shopping centre with an Aldi and Morrison’s about 5 minutes drive away. If I could add one thing it would be a fan as I found it hard to sleep being too hot. I would recommend the cottage to others and would definitely consider staying again.

We stayed here for a weekend with friends, teenagers, our young daughter and our dog. There was plenty of space for us all (4 adults and 4 children, 1 dog) including outdoor space. The cottage was cosy and comfortable. It was extremely well equipped - we had everything we couple possibly need in the kitchen. The cooker is great too - a very hot fan oven. Really nice conservatory just off the kitchen serves as a very pleasant dining room. It is very child and dog friendly. Board games, books and toys for kids in the living room. The bedrooms are animal themed, but it's not ott. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. It has an instant supply of very hot water with very good pressure - lovely showers. A really lovely place to stay just a short drive from Kendal. I would highly recommend.
