They are two-storied stone-built residences, that have been repaired with passion, love and care in order that they ensure a comfortable pleasant stay and also they maintain all the wisdom and the style of local architecture (with the wooden stairs, the balconies, the big windows with poles, etc) as well as the contact with nature, which is very beneficial for the modern person of the city.

Living in one of "KARNAYO" residences one has the possibility to enjoy the simplicity of life in modern Katsellorizo and feel the way of life of the old style of the island.

KARNAYO complex consists of 2 traditional, renovated houses, built and decorated according to the local architectural style. The houses are located 25m away from the sea, in a very quiet alley within the town of Kastelorizo. One of the houses consist of 2 apartments each that can sleep 2-5 persons. This house offer panoramic views of the magnificent port of Kastelorizo.

The second mansion, constists of 4 autonomous double rooms, all with private bathroom, refrigerator and boiler. One of the rooms disposes of a private kitchen. All three houses have air conditioning units and they all bear the marks of traditional architecture such as wooden carved ceilings, internal staircases, carved shelves (all authentic).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Karnayo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
