Villa Fosa is a beautifully furnished, luxury family villa offering stunning views out over both Kalkan and Kalamar Bays. Set just a short walk into the centre of the pretty town of Kalkan, with its restaurants and shops, Villa Fosa offers luxury and style in the perfect setting.

A wonderfully spacious, comfortable villa, outside Villa Fosa guests can enjoy a lovely private swimming pool with built in steps offering easy access to the water. Surrounding the pool is a large sunbathing terrace with wooden sun-loungers, covered with thick cushions for extra comfort in the sun. Pink and white oleanders together with large pot plants surround the pool area, creating a wonderful holiday escape.

To the side of the villa, steps lead up to a large shaded drinks terrace with a seating area that offers wonderful views out over the bays. Bougainvillea and oleander surround the terrace and a large hammock is the perfect place for an afternoon siesta.

All around the villa are pretty gardens with banana trees, bougainvillea and jasmine growing, and you can make use of the Weber barbecue that is available for guests. An outside shower is perfect for refreshing yourself during the day.

Inside Villa Fosa is designed for easy summer living, with the open plan design on the ground floor making use of large french windows that open out onto the swimming pool terrace and an 'al fresco' dining area for eight people.

The large kitchen features an oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a Magimix Nespresso machine, while the washing machine is located under the stairs together with an iron and ironing board. There is also a downstairs toilet.

The indoor dining area has a wooden table and six chairs, while the living area features two comfortable cream armchairs, together with a sofa bed, flat screen HD television and blu-ray player. Pretty, traditional style lighting throughout the ground floor together with hand made wooden cupboards all add to the quality and beautiful style of the property.

On the first floor you will find one large bedroom with a super-king size bed, wooden furnishings and lovely en-suite shower room finished in cream and stone tiles, together with the pretty en-suite twin bedded room, which is also furnished in wood. Both have large glass doors that open out onto a wonderfully spacious balcony with wooden seats and sun loungers to enjoy the views.

On the second floor is the luxurious Master Suite, which features a super-king size bed and private shower room, together with a lovely roof terrace with iron sofas on which to relax with a book or a drink at the end of the day. The views from the Master Suite are spectacular and it's the perfect location for enjoying some star gazing.

Whichever room you stay in, you will wake up in the morning and open your curtains to stunning views of the Mediterranean and the towering Taurus mountains that form the backdrop to Kalkan. The villa also benefits from an alarm system and a safe for securing your personal belongings. There is also a private covered parking area below the villa, should you choose to hire a car.

In addition, we offer rental of a full range of baby/child equipment including a BT baby monitor, Baby Bjorn potty, Phil & Ted's travel cot, high chair, etc - please ask us about prices for your requirements. The villa also has a range of children's books and family games.

Getting around

You don't have to have a car at Villa Fosa, many of the area's main attractions can be reached by bus, dolmus (mini bus) or taxi, and you can walk to shops, restaurants and beach clubs, but it can make exploring easier and the villa has it's own private parking area. Car hire here is good value and it will make it easier to come and go as you please. You can choose to hire a car for the duration of your stay or just for a few days to help visit places such as Saklikent, Kaputas Beach, Patara and Simena. If you choose to use the bus you'll find the bus station at the top of town, about a 15 minute walk from the villa.

Interaction with guest

Our home is looked after by Dali, who will be on hand to help you throughout your stay. He will welcome you, show you round and will come each day to clean the pool and tidy the garden. He can also help with any queries you have, advise on excursions, beaches and more. You'll have his number so if you need anything during your stay please just call him. He speaks fantastic English and is very welcoming.

“Comfortable and spacious villa”

15-20 minutes walking from Kalkan centre. There are close by bars and restaurants and supermarkets with fresh bread etc. Having been to Kalkan several times this was a comfortable and spacious property and the owner Teak was very easy and amenable to deal with and quick to respond to emails and sorted out transfers for us. Even though there was a TV there it was only for watching DVDs on with no actual channels. It had everything else that you would want and had daily visits from Dali the property manager who was able to deal with any problems and sorted out any tours we wanted to go on. He also offered to bring fresh bread daily. Overall a very pleasant stay and would be quite happy to return to this property.

Like being home from home the villa was ideal for our family visit in October. The kitchen was really well equipped which meant we could easily cook at home with our young family, and the pool was a great size. Bedrooms had brilliant views from the balcony and overall it was a vey relaxing stay. The walk into Kalkan took only about 15 mins, and we could easily catch a taxi back at very little cost, which was ideal for when the kids got tired.

The villa was the perfect place to stay in order to relax and enjoy a week in the sunshine with all the family. The children split their time between playing in the lovely pool and the nearby Kalkan seaside that was a ten minute walk away. The villa had three lovely bedrooms, all with air conditioning and seperate bathrooms. These were all very tastefully decorated and modern with fantastic views from their individual balconies. Downstairs the sitting room, kitchen and dining area were very well set out and equipped in order to make living at the villa a pleasure. We will be back again.
