This villa, in which the owners were involved with the Architect throughout the construction, was built in 2007. They have lovingly created a beautiful and characterful "home from home" in Kalkan - a place they have been visiting for 29 years. Set in a peaceful location just a few minutes walk to the seafront with swimming platforms, restaurant and water taxi. The villa has a glorious roof terrace offering spectacular views across Kalkan bay.

Lower Basement - Pump and maintenance area. LOWER GROUND FLOOR - Swimming pool with cushioned sunbeds(7) and parasols(3), table and chairs(8), and barbecue. Poolside service/utility room with sink, fridge, washing machine, iron, ironing board, airers and chilled water dispenser unit. Poolside shower.
Separate w.c. with basin. Poolside day-room with sofa. Bedroom (wheelchair access) with twin beds and en suite with bath and separate walk-in shower with fitments for the less mobile (wet room). Safe available for personal belongings. GROUND FLOOR - Well equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, extractor, smoke alarm, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cafetiere, toaster, kettle, mixer, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasswear, leading to spacious open-plan living room with dining area and balcony, sofas, dining-table and chairs, T.V./DVD and WiFi. FIRST FLOOR - Bedroom with kingsize bed, balcony and sea view, en-suite with shower. Master Bedroom with kingsize bed, children cot and campbed, balcony and sea view, en suite with shower. ROOF TERRACE -Under eaves twin-bedded room with en suite bath and shower leading on to Terrace with small service area, fridge, roof storage, small drinks table and 6 chairs, floor cushions,.cantilevered parasol and 2 loungers. Fabulous views! Cleaning/Linen/Maid Service. Towels and linen included (including 8 beach towels). The villa is cleaned once a week and linen changed weekly. Other arrangements can be made at extra cost. The pool and terrace is cleaned daily and the garden watered daily. Notes on Accommodation. Please note that smoking is not allowed in the villa. “Fabulous Holiday”

Our family had a fabulous holiday at Villa Kisla Han. The Photo's don't do it justice. We were very comfortable and the villa was excellently equipped and beautifully maintained. the pool was essential in that heat and was a luxury we wouldn't be able to do without. The Villa is excellently located across the bay from Kalkan. It is a short, but hot walk down to the beach clubs and water taxi. Kalkan had grown a lot in the 16 years since our last visit, but had lost none of it's charm. We hope to visit many more times over the coming years and definitely want to stay in Sue and Suresh's lovely villa.

This was our first visit to Kalkan and definitely won't be the last ! Our group consisted of two families with teenagers and we found the villa well equipped and spacious with a secluded pool and fantastic views of Kalkan bay from the balconies. The villa is close to the beach club which is free to use so we popped out for a swim in the sea or to use the water sports most days. We found everything we needed at Bob's shop which is a short stroll away. There are only a handful of restaurants close to the villa so at night we mainly caught the water taxi into Kalkan where there is a huge choice of fabulous restaurants and some interesting boutique shops. As the water taxis finish around 9pm, we usually walked back to the villa along the 'low road' which was a great way to walk off some calories. The villa is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Kalkan which is mostly flat or downhill and we all found this an enjoyable way to end the evening. I wouldn't however recommend this walk with a pram as most of the path is gravel. As there were 8 of us, we would have needed two taxis costing 40 lira which with the water taxi fee would have added up over a two week holiday. I would recommend Ali's boat trip which was a very relaxing day with fantastic food. Sue booked this for us when we booked the villa which was just as well as he was fully booked for the two weeks we were there. Also, Kalkan is very hilly so I would recommend flat shoes. The ceiling in the attic room is quite low so best for children but as it opens onto the roof terrace, not for very young children. We have stayed in a few villas over the years but none as well equipped as this; ample wardrobe space, fully equipped kitchen, 3 fridges and the water cooler by the pool really set it apart. The villa and gardens are also very well maintained by Sukru and his team with the pool cleaned on a daily basis - the photos don't do it justice.

An amazing villa, within a short walk of the Kalkan Beach Club. The water taxi across to Kalkan is great, especially in the early evening on your way out to Kalkan Town. The organised trip that we went on, through Abi Travel to Saklikent Gorge, is a must. It costs £16 per person but is cheaper for children and includes journey to and from the Gorge in an open back Land Rover, a lovely lunch, sitting on the banks of the river and entrance into the Gorge. The optional 30 TL (£10 or so) which you can pay to go down the river on "Ringos" is well worth it. It was such a laugh and the 7 of us had a great time. This is also a Mud Bath to go in at the end of the river trip, which was good fun and the kids loved it. All in all, the Villa is like "Home from Home" and you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Kalkan town, is beautiful and some of the Restaurants are amazing (Doy Doys, Olive Garden and both Mussaka restaurants). You do get hassled a little by people asking you to go into their restaurants, but a "No Thanks" is always accepted and they will always say "Thank you, Have a good evening" so is not too much of a problem, Nothing to do with the Villa, but would be nice to be able to walk easily from Kisla in the evening into Kalkan. Part of the walkway out of Kalkan is completed, but the rest of the walk is un-developed and not advisable for children/older people. We did walk along the main road one the first night, but wouldn't recommend that !! Hope you enjoy Kisla Han and Kalkan as much as we did. The Wallis and jenkins Families.

I would recommend this villa as a holiday, it is is in Kas just outside Kalkan it is not possible to walk to Kalkan in the very hot weather; but there are taxis and a boat ferry. It is quiet and peaceful not really suitable for clubbing teenagers but it is suitable for couples, extended family and friends. The views from the villa are lovely and both Kas and Kalkan are not overy commercialised. Please be aware that Kalkan is very steep and it is a strenuous walk through the town in very hot weather. There are some lovely restaurants to choose from. I would recommmend hiring a car to explore the area especially the mountains, and Demre to visit the Church of St Nicholas. If you do hire a car you must have your driving licence with you in the vehicle at all times! We had a great time and the owners are very helpful and friendly. If you go independently I would recomment ABI travel for the airport transfers.
