Getting around

Its easy to get into town. The free shuttle will take you to the top of the resort then its a spectacular 30 minute stroll into town (flat and downhill) overlooking the bay and the harbour. Alternatively you can use the hotel's shuttle boat which will take you across the bay to the harbour (watch out for turtles which are regularly in the bay). Coming back its 10 mins in a taxi. You can travel further afield to Kas along a scenic sea side route (30 mins) or in the other direction to beautiful Patara beach and the ancient ruins (30mins) by dolmus from the top of the resort. Very Good

“Beautiful position of Accommodation”

One needs to be fairly fit as there are nearly 200 steps down to beach. It is rewarding though as the views are magnificent.

Owner's reply: Thanks very much for your review

“Absolutely Fabulous Darlings!!”

This must rate as one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in to date. The Villa is just as described and the view every morning from the terrace took my breath away. The whole complex is spotlessly clean and the service thou slow compared to home was warm and friendly. The restaurants in Kalkan were fab and I would highly recommend 'Salt and Pepper', a little more pricey than some but totally worth it. I will definitely go again. Only one not book a trip via 'Define Tours' as their rep was useless!

Owner's reply: Thanks for the nice review and really pleased you enjoyed your holiday. The title of the review is very topical

“A lovely villa in a beautiful setting.”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2013

I travelled with my wife and teenage daughter in the last week of May; we had a really wonderful stay. The villa was spotlessly clean and is set in the most picturesque rersort in a quiet bay overlooking the Mediterranean close to the village of Kalkan. We had full use of the hotel/resort's facilities, including 3 swimming pools, gym, spa and 2 restaurants and bars. There was free wifi in the communal areas, such as reception and around the pools. It was relatively quiet which suited us just fine. The staff at the resort were incredibly helpful and coudn't do enough for us. We ate at the resort on a few occasions and the food was really nice on every occasion, as well as being reasonably priced. We loved taking the resort boat across the harbour to Kalkan. The village has a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants and we found the locals to be really friendly, and even though you do get pestered a little by restaurant owners they were always really polite. I would also recommend a trip to Saklikent Gorge, which was anamazing experience; it's the 2nd largest gorge in Europe where you can go tube rafting and/or walk through the river that flows through the gorge. On the whole we had a great week with good weather, temperatures in the high 20s/low 30s every day.

“A Great Location”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2012

My Wife and I stayed here for two weeks, the weather was very warm, we found the location of the villa near to the main hotel which was very handy to be able to walk for any meals,[plus the bonus of 25% discount on meal and drinkd],it was also just a short walk to the pools, sea and the ferry landing for visiting Kalkan town whish we found very nice with plenty of eateries supermarkets and bars,we also found the shuttle bus which runs through the complex very handy for getting to the main roa for bus access to East or West located towns, clean and cheap buses. We found the villa very clean, roomy, plenty of natural light with plenty of facilities, the terrace was of a good size with wonderfull views over the sea and Kalkan,a great place to finish the day off with a glass of wine watching the magnificent sunsets.

Me and a group of friends had this villa recommended to us and we can all say it is just what we needed, it provided a lovely base to go back to each day in order to enjoy our holiday. There was no hassle getting to the villa from the airport as Steve & Lynn provided me with the contact details of someone they use on a regular basis, he was ever the professional and very reliable when taking us to and from the airport. The villa itself is lovely and has a quaint traditional feel mixed with all the modern living we are used to, I was pleased to see a dish washer! For me my favorite part of the villa is the balcony, it is very spacious and the view is breath taking looking out onto Kalkan Bay. Food, the food was amazing; not one bad meal. We did use some of the recommended ones from the list but we did also venture off and try some other as there is more than enough to choose from. You do not get hassled and can wonder quite freely around until something takes your fancy. The weather was gorgeous no complaints there, we used two of the pools on site which were both great. The infinity pool is great to go up to later on in the day and watch the sun setting if you are a late sunbather such as we are. The adult pool was also a lovely place to hang out and cool off in the pool without the distraction of young children, and of course there is a cocktail bar situated just round the pool. There is plenty of activities to keep you entertained if you so wish in the area, we went on two boats trips to different islands and beaches, they are very well priced and most include lunch. A jeep safari, which took us the the Gorge, Patara beach, and the ancient ruins. We also had a go on the water rings which was great fun which you can book at the hotel. I would definitely recommend here and will hopefully be returning myself.

“Glorious views, great location, excellent restaurants”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2012

My wife and I chose this villa from the photo on the website and we weren't disappointed. Everything from being met at the airport by Ahmet (arranged by Steve and Lynn) to the wonderful layout and position of the villa and the great choice of restaurants recommended by Steve and Lynn. The weather always makes a difference and it was great so we could take full advantage of the pools on site - infinity pool at the top gives wonderful views while the adult pool near the sea is a welcome retreat from the kids. We tried many of the restaurants suggested and also the hotel near the villa gives a 25% discount in it's restaurant and bars. One restaurant's service was so good they even went to the trouble of picking us up (Adam's) whilst Aubergine was probably our favourite for international food at reasonable prices. The villa itself had everything we needed with plenty of space and the views were as shown on the photos. A tip is that the hotel run a boat to the town and any orders for food etc at the supermarkets will be delivered to the villa free of charge. Hotel restaurants also do take-aways if you want them We'd happily recommend this place and hope to return one day. Many thanks to Steve and Lynn for their help
