Latika apartment is a stunning private one bedroom apartment attached to our home in Kalkan, Turkey. At Latika you will enjoy peace and tranquillity. It is situated in the residential area of Kisla which is one of the areas that makes up Kalkan. The neighbourhood of Kisla has easy accessibility to Kalkan Old Town on foot or via a short car or taxi journey. Or take a water taxi. Villa Latika is on a quiet residential street in the Kisla area of Kalkan.

The apartment has recently been renovated and offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for 1- 4 guests - all with the added luxury of your own private pool. The pool is at the front of the villa facing west, enjoying some of the best sunset views Kalkan has to offer. Look right and you will see the beauty of Kalkan Harbour. Look straight on and you see the mountains opposite. The sun sets behind here with the most amazing views and sunsets. The property has its own patio right in front of the apartment. Unlike other apartments that share a communal pool, the pool is all yours. If you are looking for exclusivity, relaxation and peace, you have come to the right place. The apartment is fully air conditioned with free WiFi. It consists of a double bedroom with king size bed, newly fitted bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and lounge lounge which houses a sofa bed and TV with full access to all Uk TV stations so you don't have to miss you favourited programs. This gives you the flexibility of up to 4 guests The large private patio runs the length of the apartment with sunbathing areas, dining areas as well as a BBQ for your use.  There is a weekly maid service which consists of cleaning and linen change. We also provide you with a Welcome Pack of groceries to get you under way. 

Kisla is a residential area with beach clubs, a few restaurants, and local shop. It is within walking distance of Kalkan's Old Town. Some of the walk is up a slight incline so you may prefer to take a short taxi ride to and from Kalkan at very good value or why not have a fun start to your evening by sailing over to the harbour - you can take one of the water taxis from Kisla to Kalkan harbour.

The private pool Is a freshwater 7m x 3m which also boasts uninterrupted mountain and sea views. It has steps at one end. Please note that the pool is not gated or fenced. Children must be supervised by an adult AT ALL TIMES around the pool and the villa. 

Villa Laltika is situated in a great position to experience the beautiful view of the sun setting behind the rolling mountains, Unlike other apartments in Kisla, it will not fall into shadow till late afternoon when the sun lies low behind the mountains. You be able to enjoy many an evening watching the sun goes down.

Getting around

You can walk into Kalkan town which takes about 20 minutes from Villa Latika, book a Taxi which cost 20tl or get one of the free boat taxi from the beach clubs. You can also catch the local buses in to Kas for a boat trip to Mes or Fethiye for a great day out, Book a car from town to explore further places like Saklikent River, Xanthos, Patara or Kaputas beachs.

First time in Kalkan and the villa was everything we needed, superb quality and clean. In a really good location. The owners were brilliant and made everything so easy. Can’t wait to go back in May

The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, and very well-equipped. The owners - who live in the villa on the floors above - have thought of everything, so it’s very practical as well as of stunning design and high quality finish. The welcome pack of butter, milk, home-made jams, bread, tea, coffee etc etc was very a nice touch and very -er- welcome! There’s a dining table and chairs on the pool terrace as well as in the open plan kitchen/living/dining area. The bed is large and comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. It’s very airy, with sliding doors onto the pool terrace allowing a good breeze through during the day. The provision of six sunbeds around the pool means at least one pair is in the sun from around 10.30am til dusk. The views over the bay are lovely; we enjoyed drinks on the comfy contemporary seating outside the bedroom each evening. The walk into Kalkan takes about 30-35 minutes - and is very steep in a couple of places to start with. We did that about three or four times during the day or evening, getting a taxi back for around £3.50-£4. We also ate twice at Fidanka next door, lovely food and very quirky but pretty ‘treehouse’ style decor. They sell Gara Guzu craft beer, as does The Junction in town. The walk down to the beach clubs is steep (we didn’t fancy coming back that way, but took the boat across to Kalkan harbour once, and taxied back. All in all this was a lovely, relaxing place to stay with amenities equal to a five star hotel. The owners were very easy to book with and very friendly and helpful. We would defiantly stay again.
