Welcome to Spindrift ,our beautiful detached self-catering holiday cottage in extensive grounds, which offers luxurious accommodation with breathtaking views. Located in a truly tranquil setting overlooking the North East coast. If exploration is high on your agenda you're perfectly positioned to discover the best of both the country and city.Ideal for couples who want a romantic break, honeymoon or just to escape from hustle and bustle. Its also a perfect quiet retreat for families . With 3 bedrooms (including attic room), luxurious bathroom with roll-top bath and modern kitchen, the cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing stay.

The entrance leads through to a spacious, bright and airy hall with access to all rooms and staircase to attic room. Continue through to the lounge, TV, DVDs, and the INTERNET with superb views through dual aspect windows, and warming WOODBURNING STOVE (with logs provided).

The kitchen includes a range cooker, a dining table seating 6, and high chair , complete with dishwasher and washing machine. Off the kitchen is the porch which has a tumble dryer this is a good place to come in and leave shoes boots etc after a good day out .

The master king-size bedroom and double bedroom are on the ground floor. Then upstairs to the single bright and modern bedroom with a futon available for an extra guest. The bathroom on the ground floor has a roll-top bath and separate electric shower. This is an ideal place to escape to for a romantic relaxing stay or to explore the surrounding area. Welcome pack provided of tea/coffee milk bread butter eggs biscuits juice. To help you settle in the cottage right away.

PLEASE NOTE cleaning products are provided for your use . If the property is not left clean, a Cleaning fee will be claimed to cover costs from the damage deposit.

PLEASE NOTE due to the position of the cottage the track leading up to it is not suitable for lowered vehicles, standard vehicles and hire cars not a problem .

The Scotland region

We are located between Aberdeen and Dundee, surrounded by stunning countryside.

There is much to do in the area whether you enjoy exploring the Cairngorm Mountains, walking along the beach or visiting local places of interest.  There are two traditional fishing villages with pubs, eateries and chip shop using fresh fish all within 2 miles.  There are restaurants, theatres, cinemas, bowling and much more in Aberdeen and Dundee which are only a car ride away.  However, if you want to stay closer to home there is plenty of activities and attractions in the local area.Here are just some of the local places of interest. :Dunnottar Castle -  A dramatic and evocative ruined cliff top fortress in a truly stunning setting.

Stonehaven Open Air Swimming Pool - Olympic-size, heated seawater Pool (opens 25th May)

Royal Deeside - Home of beautiful Balmoral Castle, home of the Queen during the summer months.

Johnshaven

Perfect base for those who like to walk, with routes directly from the cottage.

Right by the coast with beautiful beaches and local villages to explore. Within Johnshaven there are places to eat, pubs and a local shop.

Local places of interest are: short walk away.Mill of Benholm - an historic watermill, set in an idyllic setting .

Car drive away:Fowlsheugh RSPB Reserve - spectacular cliffs at Fowlsheugh are packed with 130,000 breeding seabirds in the spring and summer, including guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes.

The beaches at St Cyrus and Lunan Bay are beautiful with cafe at Lunan Bay also Stonehaven with its Open Air Swimming Pool.

The towns of Stonehaven & Montrose have various banks & plenty supermarkets for weekly shop.Local co-op at Inverbervie 2 miles ,Cash machine & post office .
