The Space

This family sized house has many interesting features, nooks and crannies and some stained glass windows. The upper rooms are divided by 400 year old alabaster pillars.

Casa Santa Ana is a lovely quiet village house bordering the National Park, with natural unspoiled views. Calle Santa Ana has great restaurants, a supermarket and covered swimming pool, with a restaurant situated in a big tree lined patio with gorgeous veiws all within 5 minutes . We always have plenty of parking, wide roads, no hills.

It is a beautiful spacious family house 40 minutes from Gibraltar Airport.

There is a large well equipped farmhouse kitchen with a Smeg oven, fridge and separate breakfast/sun room.

4 Bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. 3 with showers, and one with a bath. Walled garden with barbecue for relaxing and al fresco dining. Upstairs is a stunning open plan area with antique columns, boasting a sizable tiled terrace where you can relax and enjoy the views

There is never a problem to park, and the best tapas bars in the village are close by. 2 minutes in the car takes you to the local National Park. Access to the river and mountaintop walks are on the doorstep. We speak Spanish fluently so don't hesitate to ask if you need help with anything. The booking price listed is for up to 7 people, and check in is anytime after 9am up till 3pm and check out any time up to 3pm. This can be flexible depending on the day.

My favorite tapas bar in the village is called Bar Mena and is situated along the road. They do the best fried squid ever. There is often a very good wild venison stew. Game is plentiful around this area. There is a very good supermarket that sells fresh produce, a pizzaria and 4 restaurants in the street. Further down in the center of town are two more big supermarkets, another swimming pool(uncovered) with a bar, and a health center opposite, in case of emergency.

In the main square you will often find markets and fiestas and plenty more bars and restaurants to choose from.

Don't forget to enjoy the river walk and visit the Castle and caves.

The campsite is a great place to take the kids for a day at the pool and is very safe, with a covered grass area. The beaches are just a 30 minute drive. There are many signposted routes for walkers hikers and cyclists, and swimming in the gorgeous river is a must. There are organized walks and also a rock climbing group. There are many musicians and artists living locally so you will often find Flamenco and Classical concerts in various venues.

Sorry but no big dogs or farm animals. Small dogs, cats, and bunny rabbits welcome.

Whole House/ Patio

We are about 3 km from the Train Station from where you can visit all the charming villages on the White Route, Ronda is a must.

Popular Historic White Village set in the Alcornales National Park. Wonderful sites and places to visit locally.

Jimena de la Frontera

For little ones there is a delightful play area in the church grounds 2 minutes from the house. A big pool and restaurant with huge space for kids to run about is a 5 min walk. We have restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep,and the locals are very friendly.
