Fantastic location. Fully furnished 2 bedroom short let in Jericho, Oxford with all utilities included and weekly linen change. Fully equipped for a short or long stay.
Hayfield Road is located in the Oxford suburb of Jericho, one of the the most 'fashionable' and desirable places to live in Oxford. Oxford city centre is 10 minutes walk, there are numerous excellent restaurants, bars and cafes within a 5 minute walk, and the River Thames is just a 5 minute walk away. A stay at Hayfield Road will give you an experience of Oxford life which you will never forget.
This is a family house used by the owners occasionally during school terms. It is a Victorian red-brick period terrace and an excellent example of a Jericho home. The entrance door leads into a hall way, with stairs leading off to the left. There is a spacious living room with wood burning stove and sofa chairs. The galley style kitchen is equipped with everything you will need during your stay. There is a large gas cooker with double oven, dishwasher, washer dryer and all the usual kitchen items that you might expect to find.
The kitchen leads into the dining area with dining table, six chairs and a comfy leather sofa to sit in and enjoy views over the garden. The garden has outdoor furniture and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy on a sunny day.

"Safe bet short let in Jericho"
A deceptively spacious property on a quiet, terraced street near the canal. We stayed for a week mid-January: cold outside, but cosy within. Our heart of the home was the kitchen with its well proportioned, light dining extension opening out to the garden. A range cooker, microwave, two fridges, extensive collection of cookware, plentiful supply of glassware and crockery, and big dishwasher made for ideal entertaining. The open plan living / study area with wood burning fire (and TV, DVD player, numerous books, DVDs and board games) was cosy. Upstairs the bathroom (with roll top bath and separate shower) was warm and beautifully sunny in the morning. The main bedroom looked out over the street and had a huge, super comfy bed. A second bedroom had a view of the garden and a single bed. Much appreciated away from home were reliable wifi, a laundry cupboard (washer dryer, airer, iron and board) and a hairdryer. At the end of the road the wonderful, well stocked Hayfield Deli opened early and served great take away coffees. The Anchor, with its roaring fires, offered good real ales, a fabulous selection of gins, and an inviting restaurant menu. Oxford town centre was a fifteen minute stroll down the road to Walton Street (or via the Woodstock and Banbury roads) with numerous colleges, tourist attractions, pubs, cafes and restaurants en route. An ideal base for a holiday, university visit or Morse pilgrimage (but leave the Jag at home).

"Old fashioned brick building typically British"
We liked our stay in this house very much but unfortunately some details were not highly satisfactory; e.g. some armchairs were worn out and very uncomfortable to sit in even causing backache; the fittings in the shower were surprisingly original, when sometimes water didn't stop to run :)) Nevertheless we liked the house and would rate it good - very good all in all. We should not forget the considerable price that we paid for two weeks also due to the exchange rate of British Pound and € which makes it difficult to evaluate the value for money.

"5 Star Spacious Home Away From Home - With EXCELLENT Service"
I was so impressed by Weekly Homes' 5 Star Welcome - into the Spacious, Beautiful & Super Clean Home. It was very conviniently located just a mile from where i was attending Spring School in Oxford and I always got back home on time to play with my 4 year old in the private garden.
