Brilliantly located, 3-bedroomed, 2 bathroom apartment in Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain. 2 minutes walk to shops and restaurants and 5 minutes to beach. Shared pool and gardens, with seating and shaded areas perfect for relaxing and lounging before dipping into the pool to cool down! The apartment is in a secure, gated complex, with secure underground car parking. It also has a private terrace and separate private garden, making this ideal for the family holiday or for those who want a quiet break away.

Javea is renowned as the jewel in the Costa Blanca and is worth visiting in itself but is also excellent for visiting other parts of the region. There are many beaches nearby or visit the old fort in Denia, the beautiful town of Guadalest, perched on a hillside or climb the rock in Calpe. Family days out with marine animals at Mundomar, Terra Mitica theme park and Aquilandia watrpark. Valencia's City of Arts & Sciences and its huge marine aquariums (The Oceanografic), are only a short drive away. Or great walks can be had in the nature reserve at Montgo, visible from the garden.

Javea town has three parts each with their particular interest. The port is a working fishing port and has a famous church in the shape of an upturned boat. The old town has the old church, daily indoor market.

During the high season it has a lifeguard service and the beach is cleaned daily. Lined with restaurants and bars, as well as a good variety of shops, it is where most of the night life is to be found. Many Spanish families have second homes here.

Nearly all home comforts are available in this well furnished apartment. Air-conditioning is included in the rent. Cable TV shows mainly English channels, and also BBC radio channels. Although linen & towels are provided, beach towels are not. The apartment is cleaned at the end of each rental period and the cost is included in the rent. No smoking in the apartment please but there is a terrace and a garden available should it be necessary. A cot is available for those with very small children or babies. The owners have a young family and try to provide for the needs of all guests.

An enclosed back garden and separate enclosed terrace at the front of the apartment offer outdoor living for the apartment's guests. The terrace has a table and six chairs, two toddler's chairs, and a large parasol. The terrace is in the sun all day long. The shared pool is rarely too busy and there is always space in the gardens for relaxing and sunbathing. The car park has a lift to the apartment. Guests can usually make use of the beach mats, parasols, body boards, games, buckets & spades etc. You are there to have fun!

The Valenciana region

The northern Costa Blanca is recognised as one of the most interesting areas in Spain. It has wide beaches and pebbly coves; mountainous areas with winding narrow roads; wide plains with orange and almond groves. The coast benefits from a steady daytime breeze, which suppresses the heat of the summer sun. Daytime temperatures are usually around 35 celsius, falling to about 25 celsius at night. The winter is warm and daytime temperatures are usually about 15 celsius. Night temperatures can be cool but rarely cold. In consequence of the climate, the World Health Organisation recognises this area as the best place in the world for humans to live.

There are many caves, gorges and waterfalls and natural parks in the mountains, as well as family attractions such as water parks and theme parks in the coastal region. Inland there are may old towns and cities, with a rich heritage, especially as this was once a Moorish part of Spain, so has an interesting cultural history. There are a number of quality golf courses within the region, including two that have hosted Eurpoean Tour events. There is plenty for every visitor to do.


Near the apartment there is a wide range of sports and activities including tennis, golf, go-carting, mini-golf and crazy golf, scuba diving, windsurfing and of course many restaurants and bars. In the summer evenings about 10 minutes walk away, there is a fair, which also has a small go-cart track. Great fun for the family.

In Javea old town, the daily indoor market is the place to buy fresh bread, fish, meat and fruit and vegetables. The Port area has the unusual church in the shape of an upturned boat, as well as many bars and restaurants. It is also the centre of its well-known bull run. NO bulls are hurt, as they are chased into the sea, although sometimes the humans cop it! Arrive early and pay for a seat in the grandstand. There is an excuse for fireworks and fiesta almost every weekend.

"sun,sea and sand!"

We had a great time in Javea. The appartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped.Good to have English TV channels. The beach was fab and there were lots of good restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Pool area is attractive but no water in pool when we arrived! It was filled a few days later but water obviously needed time to heat up. We found Casa Care staff very friendly and helpful.Booking was easy and Tessa and Richard's directions and information were excellent. A really good time was had by all!
