A delightful and very spacious six bedroom villa situated in extensive mature gardens, ideally configured as three units which can accommodate an extended family, a group of friends or a number of families, sleeping up to 12 people.
The main house sleeps five in three bedrooms, with the Casita offering accommodation for four whilst the Studio sleeps two to three.
The charming main house (which is formed from the original finca) is approached through a porch which leads to a large reception room with a comfortable sitting area around the television and a dining area. Two sets of patio doors lead out on to the terrace overlooking the pool and gardens.
Glass doors from the sitting room open into a study area with stairs leading to the first floor and beyond into an additional sitting area with double doors to the secluded internal courtyard which provides a shady sitting and dining area; ideal for those looking for a cool place to relax in the heat of the day. There is a double and a single bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a large range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and granite work tops. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite with dressing room, shower room and a private terrace overlooking the pool and gardens.
Steps from the gardens lead to the self-contained Casita which has a private terrace and outdoor space with lovely views up to the Montgo National Park and mountain. A generous sitting room opens into the kitchen and dining area which is equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The Casita has a family bathroom, a double bedroom and twin bedroom with en suite shower room.
The Studio can be accessed from either the Terrace or through the main porch and has a large double bed, sitting area with sofa bed and shower room.
The terrace by the pool features a shaded dining area and a stunning outdoor kitchen with gas hob, griddle plate, two fridges and ample storage space. This sensational entertaining space is completed by a bar and stools for enjoying drinks outside. The pool itself is 5m by 10m with Roman steps at one end and extensive room for sun loungers in sun and shade.
Wifi runs throughout the house, together with ceiling fans in all bedrooms and optional air-conditioning and pool heating. Cots and high-chairs are available on request. There is also an external laundry equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Within easy walking distance are two excellent restaurants: family friendly Masena and Michelin starred Bon Amb. A short drive takes you to the broad sandy beach of the Arenal with its full complement of restaurants, bars and shops. The old town of Javea (clearly visible from the house) has a 15th century fortified church, a traditional covered market and a good selection of tapas bars. Both Mercadona and Mas y Mas supermarkets are within a short drive and offer an extensive range of both local and imported produce (Mercadona's fish and meat counters are a must for those wishing to take advantage of cooking on the outside griddle). There is a nine hole golf course four kilometres away, and 27 holes further afield at La Sella (approximately ten kilometres).

“A great place for a family and friends”
We have stayed at Las Chimeneas three times already and always are looking forward to the next holidays. Each time we stay there with our kids, family and friends. The house gives a great opportunity for everyone to have a little privacy and kids love to play both at the pool and in the garden. The house do not have air condition, but fans were just fine. Beaches are only few minutes away by car and there are a lot of local restaurants within few kilometers. I recommend Las Chimeneas for families with the kids who want to spend nice and peaceful holidays with family and friends.
“Very nice area”
The property is beautiful, great architecture and atmosphere . Nice garden and great pull. You can reach easily many beaches (gorgeous) and also restaurants and super markets. Be careful and verify with the owner they will open the windows a day before you arrive. The humidity is high and there is a smell of mold. You should also know that the one of the 2 bedrooms downstairs in the main house and one bathroom do not have windows. Considering the smell we practically could not use them. The casita and the studio are OK if you keep the windows open for a wile. The correspondence with the owner was OK, she was very responsive and willing to help.
