“Great Location and great value for money”

So firstly the location of this Villa was perfect, very quiet area, quiet roads and in the hills behind some perfect walking and places for jogging. The hill behind was actually Stage 9 of La Vuelta, the Spanish Cycling Race which we were lucky enough to be there for and get to see Chris Froome win - amazing to see amazing event. You are in a 10 min drive of Arenal Beach. This is a family area, the beach is lovely, clean sand and clean waters, very safe for kids of all ages. The is a promenade with lots of restaurants with tastes to suit all. It's well patrolled and is really family oriented, even the evenings are built for strolling with souvenir market stalls popping up and the odd street entertainer. There is also a supermarket at the end of the promenade so if you don't feel like restaurant you can grab yourself some fresh baked bread and picinic stuff from there and have a cheap lunch - we did this most days. So all in all location and area was perfect for us - having two kids 8 and 10 years old. Villa was awesome, yes a little dated but price reflected that. Pool was great and off street parking was very handy with the kids. A very peaceful place, wish I'd booked for two weeks now! Will def be going back. :-)

“very dissapointing”

During our stay here 3 women called to have a look round the Villa as they were considering buying it. This explained to us the feeling that we had of it being rather run down and neglected. It is a shame as it is a nice little Villa but in dire need of some attention. Also we were disappointed with the distance and location to local restaurants particularly as we had spoken with the owner prior to us going. It is definitely NOT a convenient situation for anybody with walking difficulties with a hill going out of the Villa and one going down to local restaurants and shops. A car is a necessity. Several of the Villa fascilities were not to our liking as they needed attention and/ or replacing. The best part of this holiday was the privacy.
