With separate 2 bedroom guest accommodation across an inner patio - perfect for families sharing, or a couple who enjoy spacious living, this is a beautiful, traditional Spanish house set in a spectacular location and region. Lovingly restored and fully modernised, this large, light, luxury 17 century Spanish town house has an inner patio, is cool in summer & warm in winter with shuttered windows, underfloor heating, open fire, air conditioning and traditional features. Head down to the beach, stroll around the historic streets or chill/party at home. The house is large and spectacular, with a variety of lovely areas in to suit everybody. There is a large communal sitting room with large sofas and a large flat screen TV. There is an extensive movie library and there are multi TV channels with English TV in addition to Spanish. The downstairs 'snug' is surrounded by books and games and has a wood burning stove. The house is unusually light for a town house with an inner patio & roof terraces. Situated near the 15 Century church of St Bartholome, the house is in the heart of the Old Town of Javea. Wander down ancient streets, try one of the many wonderful tapas bars & restaurants; enjoy open air summer concerts; visit the indoor & outdoor markets, (with a huge variety of fresh, local produce); sit and take a leisurely breakfast watching the local Spanish life. Enjoy late night dining or explore the medieval historical centre, or have a lively night life down by the beach & (or both!) the peace & tranquillity of taking a stroll along the charm of the port or the lively side of the Arenal beach, there is something for absolutely everyone in Javea and all very easily accessible. Perfect! From golf to go-carting there is something for everyone to do here. Outings:: There are 3 Theme parks within 25 minutes drive Terra Mitica (like Disneyworld), Aqualandia (water park/superslides) and Mundomar (animal park, dolphins, seals etc.). There is also a Go-Karting track 20 minutes away and an International Shopping Mall with cinema complex and Bowling Alley at Ondara some 20 mins away.Golf: Golf Information: There are 4 Golf courses in the area: Javea 9 holes (10 minute drive) La Sella 18 holes (15 minutes drive) Oliva 18 holes (25 minute drive) Moraira 9 holes (20 minute drive)Tennis: There are at least 6 tennis courts available in Javea, (home of David Ferrer...!), hard courts, clay, all weather, carpet - all nearby and many with swimming pool and good food. In particular: Club de Tennis Javea, Ancora, Toscamar, Costa Nova, Los Pinos and also at La Sella Golf & Tennis - to name a few! If you want to take a few lessons to improve your game or even begin to play - we are blessed with some really good tennis coaches here too - including Javi Ferrer, (David Ferrer's brother and also from Javea!)

Location description from owner

The Valencian Country region

The World Health Organisation selected Javea as having a near perfect climate with 320 days of sunshine per year. Bathed by the Mediterranean and sheltered by magnificent mountains, the area has something special for everybody. Javea's rugged coastline is indented with secluded coves and sandy beaches. These hidden caves and bays were once used by pirates and smugglers in the Middle Ages but are now used by sunbathers, snorklers and scuba divers

Javea

Winter skiing is under 3 hours drive away. The lovely Old Town is quiet but lively, (but not during fiesta in June!) full of good restaurants, bars, shops & markets, all within a few minutes walk and every other facility is easily accessible & only a short distance away. Javea is a real gem and once discovered is revisited year after year.Other Activities: Lively indoor & outdoor night life, open air cinemas, concerts, gardens, international shopping mall 20 mins drive away
