“Excellent lodge, warm, cosy and roomy.”

Reviewed 3 Feb 2018

We hire the lodge during working in Isleham excavating an archaeological excavation. The accommodation was excellent, clean, modern and warm and enough room for the four of us. The cooking facilities were great, so too was the large shower/bathroom, there were two TVs with multiple channels, parking outside was adequate for three vehicles. Broadband was ok but dropped sometimes and this may just be an Isleham thing? We may be back in the future to continue our work and will definitely book again.

“Lovely Quiet family break, made very welcome”

Reviewed 13 Nov 2017

The lodge was in a beautiful setting. I booked it for a quiet weekend away with my daughter and partner and baby. (And Tessa the dog). It was well equipped and clean and cosy. We stepped out for a walk on the first evening locally, then on the Saturday went to Wicken Fen nature reserve which is well worth a visit for a lovely chilled day out. We’ll definitely return in warmer months so that we can enjoy the outside seating area and maybe head to the coast for a day.

“Riverlark lodge break”

Thank you Shizuka & Todd, We had a wonderful peaceful Short break in a beautiful location with very friendly locals. The lodge was very clean and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. The children had a great time in the canoes, rowing boat, cycling and netting water bugs. Fantatic day trips to Wicked Fen Nature Reserve and Ely Cathedral.

“Cosy lodge set in a tranquil location.”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2017

The lodge sits in an idyllic location nestled on the riverbank with amazing views and the potential to mingle with an array of wildlife. We couldn't believe how well equipped it was;from the assortment of boats, life jackets, bikes to the range of outdoor/indoor living essentials, definitely well above our expectations. There is a twenty four opportunity to try your luck at fishing literally an arm's length from your bed. We caught an assortment of bream, Rudd and Roach. The pikes managed to escape us, but there are definitely there! The local area is teamed with interest, there is a wide choice of things to do and we all enjoyed both Ely cathedral and Anglesey Abbey. We would recommend a bike ride to the Isleham nature reserve, make sure you read the leaflet provided which guides you along the route including access through Moore Farm.

“A perfect holiday”

A perfect break away in a lovely cosy well equipped lodge set in the most beautiful tranquil surroundings. We throughly enjoyed are break away here, and the use of the boat and kayaks made it a great experience for us all!
