“Wonderful holiday home”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2016

We stayed at Rosa Cottage for a week in March, and had a wonderful stay. The cottage is furnished to a high standard with a tasteful and original look. The kitchen is well equipped, and we had some wonderful evenings around the large dining room table. The living room is spacious and with a warm woodburner, it was a perfect place to relax. The cottage was spotlessly clean and bedrooms comfortable. Portland is great and we made the most of Chesil Beach, which was only a few minutes walk away. We had no problems parking, and usually found a space right outside. A couple of times we parked in the next road up , but it was not a problem as it was only a minute walk away There were some great pubs and restaurants in the local area, and we would highly recommend a visit to this cottage on Portland.

Outstanding all round throughout the whole process. From booking to checkout. Great house. Great vibe. Very very happy and will book again. Superbly appointed throughout.

“Lovely cottage on Portland”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2014

We stayed at Rosa Cottage for a week in July, and had a wonderful time. The cottage is spacious and beautifully furnished, and in an ideal location to explore Portland. Only a couple of minutes walk to Chesil Beach and a short drive to the National Sailing Academy. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for self catering . Beds were comfortable and we very much enjoyed the spacious dining room for long lingering suppers. Having 2 children the separate lounge was also very handy for them to watch TV in the evenings. Parking was easy right outside the cottage most of the time, a couple of times we had to park in the road above, but only as minute walk from the property. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime later this year.

“Excellent holiday home, great value for money!”

Had a really comfortable stay at Rosa Cottage, brilliantly located to visit the Dorset coastline and lovely beach walks five minutes from the front door.

“Large, comfortable well equipped character property.”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2011

Pleasantly surprised how big property was as deceptive from outside. Well furnished throughout and plenty of utensils etc. in kitchen, excellent for catering for yourself. Very close to Chesil beach and local footpaths for walking. House was lovely and warm, much appreciated after returning from walks.

“A character cottage”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2011

The cottage was warm, cosy and well furnished. The living areas were spacious with a warm sunny patio garden at the back. We loved the log burner. The location was great; just two minutes walk from the coastal path, several good restaurants and at least two pubs with live music - what a delight! We will definitely be back next year.
