This lovely villa is in the village of Isla Plana, within walking distance of the beach and all amenities needed for a relaxing break in the sun. The villa is one of 6 in a small private complex with access to a shared pool, and has pretty gardens and terraces overlooking the pool area.
The accommodation comprises: driveway with off road parking and lockable gates. Front garden laid to tiles and covered terrace area, offering shade from the heat of the sun. Front door opening directly into large living and dining area. The living room has a feature decorative fireplace with log burner, plenty of comfortable seating, SAT TV, dining table and seating for 6, with airconditioning for the warmer months.
The Aircon runs on a card meter system with 10€ credit included and guests can but more cards from the local Rep if needed.
The living area leads to the large downstairs bathroom with bath, shower above bath, WC and bidet. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the appliances

The kitchen is well equipped and has all the appliances and white goods needed for the keenest cook, with microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. A door from the kitchen leads on to the utility terrace, with water heater and washing machine. Steps lead down to the garden area and the communal pool and garden.

The hallway downstairs leads to the two larger bedrooms which are both double rooms, with airconditioning and built in wardrobes.
Stairs lead to the 3rd bedroom, which has bunk beds and a chest of drawers for storage. Across the landing is the door to the upper terrace, with views down over the communal garden and pool and an ideal place to soak up the sun in privacy.
The villa is one of only 6 villas in the complex that share the large communal pool and the pretty garden area, which is planted with palm trees. There is an outdoor table and chairs and a large BBQ for guests to use.

The property is only a few minutes walk from the closest beach, and the main sandy beach in Isla Plana is only a few hundred metres away along the road. The village has cafés, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, fishmongers and bank and makes a great base for a relaxing holiday in the sun. The town of Puerto de Mazarrón , with long sandy beach and marina lined with a superb choice of bars and places to dine, is only a 5 minute drive away. Here there is a wider range of amenities and supermarkets to choose from, as well as a bustling Sunday market all year round.
If you are feeling more adventurous, then the larger cities of Cartagena and Murcia are approx 25 and 45 minutes drive respectively, and make marvellous destinations for a day trip to soak up some culture. And the water park & zoo at Terranatura and the Adventure park at Tentegora are within half an hour of the villa.
Mid term rentals may be accepted, depending on the time of year.
Smoking permitted only on the terraces outside the villa and pets may be permitted, but only with the prior approval of the owner.
Aircon runs by card meter with 10€ credit included per booking. Additional cards may be bought from local management company.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AC operates currently in living room and one downstairs bedroom only.

The Region of Murcia region

The Costa Calida is rightly named. Our “warm coast” has over 315 days of sunshine a year, and with an average winter temperature of around 17 °C, is the perfect location for both holiday and permanent living.
The coastline stretches to over 250 km of coves and sandy beaches, including naturist beaches. Many of these have been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and quality.
It is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, with sailing, jetskis, paragliding, canoeing and fishing. And when the younger members of the family tire of the beach, there are fantastic castles, tourist trains, soft play areas, bowling and more to keep them amused.

A golfer's paradise, the region has several challenging courses, including the world famous La Manga course nearby.
In the Murcia region there are a wide variety of courses to suit golfers of every ability.

Away from the coast are many areas of outstanding natural beauty, such as the Sierra Espuna National Park. This is ideal for hiking, walking,camping and horse riding and is a nature lovers paradise.
For those who enjoy shopping, the cities of Cartagena, Lorca, and the provincial capital Murcia have everything to offer. Cafes, bars restaurants , and retail outlets, including the shopping centres of Nueva Condomina in Murcia and the
Parque Meditarraneo in Cartagena. Both Murcia and Cartagena have wonderful heritage sites, including castles, Roman Amphitheatre and museums.


Isla Plana

The village of Isla Plana is a 10 minute walk away from the complex and there is a supermarket, bars and restaurants and a sandy beach within easy reach. A larger selection of beaches are to found in Puerto de Mazarrón, Bahia and Bolnuevo. Many are blue flag beaches meeting European quality standards. The new marina at Puerto de Mazarron is also just a short drive away, and here you will also find a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Whilst a car is not essential, we recommend car hire to fully enjoy the area. The property is ideally placed to visit Cartagena, Mazarrón and the Sierra Espuñas inland. Whatever the season, there is something close by to enjoy!
