The Sardinia region
Sardinia as beautiful as it is, is the second island in the Mediterranean sea for extension. It is also a very ancient island rich in history and legends and everywhere there are traces of human settlements dated from the Neolithic Age. The climate allows to have a very long summer season, from April to November.
Pula is a popular holiday resort with many famous hotels and beaches. The most popular month is August.
The Nora archaeological site is a pre-Roman village on which the Romans later built.
The archaeological area is very well kept and shows the evidence left following the Punic and Roman dominations. Nora used to be considered one of the main landing places in the Mediterranean area, thanks to its strategic position. Today, part of the ruins have still not been uncovered, but visitors can still admire the beauty and the prosperity that Nora enjoyed in past times. Pula is not only history and archaeology, but also beautiful coasts quite appreciated by the numerous tourists crowding the area's beaches and resorts, for the most part during the summer. Pula is also important for the Italian Golf Open that takes place at the Is Molas Golf Club. Every year, this sport's most important champions and numerous VIPs meet here.

"Good ,clean modern accommodation ideal for a family"
Good service from Edoardo for booking / arrival info and lovely welcome from Loredana who ensured everything in the house was to our liking and made sure she was there to collect the keys on time at the end of the week. Located in a quiet street on the edge of Pula, fresh bread, supermarket and good pizzerias all 5 min walk. Shower room upstairs and down is helpful The villa is made up of 4 units all self contained, private and secure for children but a car is essential to take full advantage of the wonderful beaches in this area. To find the property (coming from Cagliari direction) go past the first exit for Pula and continue until you see Conad supermarket then follow directions sent to you by the owner

"Lovely house in a peaceful setting but near to amenities."
We have just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable weeks holiday in Villa Oro. The house is in a quiet residential area of Pula yet just a short walk to the beach, town centre and restaurants. It has everything you need for self catering, the furnishings are very comfortable and of good quality and it was spotlessly clean. There is a supermarket nearby although a car is a must to explore the local area or stock up at the larger supermarket. We particularly liked the patio area where we breakfasted every morning, sunbathed a little and relaxed in the evening with a glass of the excellent local wine. Pula is a great little town and ideally located for exploring the south of Sardinia.

"Nice House in Authentic Pula"
Nice and clean and to stay amongst the locals in a quiet street, everything you need for a comfy stay, short walk in to town, although a car was useful to go to the beach and the surrounding area.

"Excellent accomodation and wonderful area"
My family and I stayed at Villa Oro for part of our summer holiday in Sardinia. Pula is a great area with wonderful beaches and great Sardinian hospitality. The villa is spacious, well presented and more that big enough for us and our three boys. The owners were helpful and very tolerant of our sometimes noisy boys and were very helpful throughout our stay. I would definatley go back and would advise anyone looking to stay in the area to give this villa a try. Jim Norris
