Inverness City Centre

Capital of the Highlands, Inverness is a great touring base with good road, rail and air connections. If you stay close to the city you can take many day trips, coach tours & boat cruises and indulge in plenty of shopping.

With its suspension bridges across the River Ness and old stone buildings, it is a pretty place that is famous for its floral displays.

Walk down along the river banks (in the direction of the Caledonian Canal) and you'll find the Ness Islands where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the shops.

Cross the river on the little bridges and you can visit Bught Park. A miniature railway runs during weekends from Easter to the end of October, and daily during the local school holidays. Close by, you will also find the Floral Hall - a sub-tropical horticultural extravaganza with small waterfall, fish and all sorts of plants/trees.

Take a cruise down Lochness and try and spot Nessie

Follow the Whiskey trails and visit all of the local distilleries

"Great place to stay"

We stayed there for two nights and is a very comfortable accomodation for a group of 4. We were received with a "welcome pack" (bread, milk, mermelades, chocolates and shortbreads!). The cottage had everything to make our stay just perfect, including board games and books. Within short distance (by car) of supermarkets and restaurants

Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again.

"A most excellent stay in the Highlands!"

There were fresh flowers along with some treats and basic foodstuffs waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage was extremely well-equipped and served us well during our visit. From cooking various meals to mending clothes, everything that we needed was already there. Deb was extremely welcoming, and even drove us into town the morning after our arrival so that we could pick up our rental car. The property was great and our stay there was wonderful. Couldn't have been happier with our visit!

Thank you for your kind review. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

"F A N T A S T I C !"

My self, my husband and my teenage son spent a very pleasant week in this fabulous holiday let. From the moment of arrival to leaving the owners were two of the most pleasant, welcoming and helpful people we have ever met. The cottage was very well situated for exploring all the local attractions and had everything you could ever think of taking with you and something's that you hadn't thought of but would be useful to have. Very well furnished and comfortable clean rooms with towels and bedding provided and the added addition of free WIFI made this a first class property. The welcome pack was a lovely addition, along with the lovely fresh trout they owners kindly gave us. Would definitely recommend this beautiful property and look forward to returning in the future.

Thank you for your lovely review. We hope everything goes well for you in the future and look forward to seeing you again

"A beautiful, with all the comforts if home, retreat just a few minutes drive to Inverness."

My husband, son and I stayed for two nights during a week tour of the highlands and we were sad to have to move on. The cottage is fully stocked with everything you need for a magical holiday. The kitchen is full of cookware and there was even a BBQ and wine bottle chiller! The bathroom was spa like and very clean. The two bed rooms where well decorated with comfortable beds one a double bed and the other two twins. The only downside was there was no dryer for clothes. However the owners offered to let us use their dryer and they do have all the equipment you need to air dry. All in all I would rate Kerbed top of our list and would stay there again! Thanks so much for making our stay a comfortable one! The Lermy Family.

Thank you for you kind review. Hope you enjoyed the golf and all the other highlights the Highlands has to offer

"Absolutely fabulous - what a find!"

With so many holiday lets to choose from, ecstatic we chose this one. The house is pristine and all furnishings and fittings are still brand new. Not many places that you can actually say "it was so clean I could eat my dinner off the floor!" Have already booked for next year and waiting to see if we can get into some of the Ladies Opens in that area - so looks like we will be returning even sooner. The owners are keen golfers - kindrid spirits! and so, so nice. Really looking forward to staying in this property again.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are looking forward to seeing you all again and playing in the ladies local golf open competitions on all the local hidden gems of the Highlands
