Welcome to Ness View apartment in the conservation area of the city. The spacious 2 bedroom , modern apartment, on the first floor of this 250 year old building affords views of the River Ness and Ben Wyvis mountain beyond.

The spacious, 1st floor, contemporary and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment offers you the ultimate holiday experience. Ideally located within 2 mins stroll of the Castle of Inverness and various shops and eateries, yet only 10 paces from the riverbank of the magestic and mystical River Ness, fed by Loch ness in the south, only 8 miles away.

Your home from home is fitted with high specification and tasteful fittings throughout. Solid Oak furniture, free wifi, blueray and cd player, flat screen television as well as boardgames, dvd and local reference book library.

For your comfort and relaxation the entire apartment is fully insulated for sound and temperature, benefitting from the latest triple glazed, tilt and turn windows, throughout. The addition of Egyptian cotton bed linen and bath towels, a daily housekeeping service if required, all go to ensure a great relaxing experience.

The open plan lounge diner affords stunning views of the River Ness and the famous three graces statue. Solid Oak dining table and genuine leather roll back dining chairs guarantee your comfort at mealtimes prepared in your luxury fully fitted kitchen, boasting the latest induction hob technology, electric oven, microwave , fitted fridge freezer and dishwasher. The fully equiped kitchen also contains a small breakfast table and chairs.

laundry facilities are also available, including washing machine and tumble drier, iron and ironing board.

Pamper yourself in the tastefully decorated bathroom, equiped with the latest thermostatic electric shower, 'p' shaped bath, shaving socket point ,vanity mirror and Egyptian cotton towels.

Each of the spacious, two bedrooms have twin zip and link hotel style hypoallegenic beds which, with notice, can offer four single 3 foot wide beds or 2 super kingsized beds.

Please note that smoking is not permitted.

For a small fee, pets are allowed in the apartment.

The accomodation is accessed via a flight of gently rising steps with supporting handrail. Prior to parking, vehicles can be unloaded directly outside the property where the owner will help with formalities and porterage.

The Scottish Highlands region

The capital of the Highlands is the first choice for those wishing to see wildlife in its natural surroundings! red deer, red squirrels, otters, seals dolphins, red kites, eagle owls are all very common in the area. look out for Osprey on Loch Ness or go to an RSPB hide 30 mins away in aviemore. all winter sports are accomodated at aviemore. why not go hill walking at Glen Affric - the only pre-historic caledonian forest left in the world! whisky is all around. nearest distrilleries are Tomatin and Glen Ord. 15 mins drive away.

Inverness is the capital of Scottish produce. world renowned scottish raspberries, seafood, Beef and Pork can all be found locally.

Inverness City Centre

From Ness view apartment you can take in the annual new years firework display which occurs just over the river. go take a look but if its exceptionally cold then you can see all the action from the comfort of the apartment. you are 2 mins stroll from the Highland games which take place in the Northern meeting park, as do all the usual music gigs. 3 min stroll and you have Eden court theatre, just over the bouncy bridge.

Every thursday evening you can enjoy the cathedral bells ringing out across the city or if you prefer marching piped bands then every tuesday evening about 8pm the band of the local British legion parade through the streets (summer only)

If you enjoy salmon fishing then, in the season, you can take rod and fly down to any of the local beats on the river ness or even try spinning lures from the bank , just outside your window ! (permit required)

The local cycle hire company-inverness bike hire are very helpful with many suggestions and maps of what can be done on two wheels and pedal power.

we have the largest most northerly pod of wild bottlenose dolphins about 30 mins drive away. best seen from the beach near Fortrose,as the tide is rising. and at low tide why not see our grey seals waiting on the beach for you in the Cromarty Firth. a further 20 mins on the A9 towards Alness.

You can see atlantic salmon jumping at the Falls of Shin or more locally at Rogie Falls. salmon run from march/april until september.

All of the various marathons, half marathons and loch ness cycle runs all start and finish within sight of the apartment.
