Location description from owner

The Scotland region

From a base in Inverness you can explore most of the north of Scotland. Day trips to the west to Ullapool and Inverewe Gardens, to the east is the beach at Nairn (25km) and explore further along the Moray Coast, to the south is Aviemore, Loch Morlich and CaIrngorm (funicular railway), Carrbridge (Landmark - a great family day out), and north to the Black isle to watch the dolphins at Fortrose, Rosemarkie beach and further north to Dornoch and Golspie etc etc. Nearer to home there is Culloden Battlefield and Cawdor Castle to visit - and a sail down Loch Ness is always popular.

“Best decision , beautiful bungalow”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2017

We had a amazing time in this beautiful bungalow from april 3rd - 10th. Quiet place with a really useful Tesco just 3 minutes away. If you looking for a peaceful holiday destination than you should consider this as one of the best choices out there in inverness. This were our first trip to scotland and we were more than happy with the bungalow and the equipment we had there. We really wanna recommend this and if we ever travel to scotland again than we'd like to book this for a week or even more again.

“Perfect location for visiting Inverness and the surroundings”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2016

We really enjoyed our 4-days stay in this bungalow. It is very good equipped with all what is needed. The owner provided milk, fruits an coffee for us prior to our arrival and their explanation how to find and open the appartment was very clear and helpful - they also left a phone number to contact them for questions ..... We were very sorry, that we had to leave the bungalow after just 4 days. Also the garden ist very nice for sitting outside. The private car park is just in front of the entrance door - very comfortable! The location is very quiet since the bungalow is located some hundred meters off at the main road. It was also very comfortable that a big tesco is just a few hundred meters away (walking distance) for buying all the things you need. There are also bus connections to the city center - since they provide their service only till the early evening we used the car to reach the city center. Inverness is a very nice city and the surroundings provide so many things to see, that I would recommend to stay at least a week in Inverness.

Owner's reply: Thanks a lot for your very kind review - delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the bungalow and had everything you wanted. I take great pride and care to ensure that everything I can think of is available for my guests. Yes the position is really good - for everything - getting into town - and out of town onto the A9 north & south, and roads to the east and west. There are so many places to visit!

“Beautiful, well equipped bungalow, ideally located.”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2016

The bungalow was of a good size, it housed 4 adults comfortably. It was extremely close to a supermarket which turned out to be very useful. It was less than 10 minutes from the city centre by car. The owners have ensured the property is really well equipped with almost everything we needed just where you would expect to find them in your own home, they also had milk in the fridge, fruit in the bowl, bread, biscuits, jam etc in the cupboards, it is finishing touches like these that made us feel really welcome. There were no down sides to this property that we could find, we would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking to stay in Inverness.

And no problem to park in the drive right at the door, with a garden too. Maybe you will come back again.
