Getting around

Driving is the easiest way to get around the area but Inverness has good transport links for those wishing an excursion e.g. bus tours or flights to the smaller islands.

Interaction with guest

Once a booking is made you will be given arrival information so that you can arrive anytime after 4pm. We will pop in and say hello as soon as we can and the visitors folder in the chalet has lots more information and contact details incase you need to get hold of us. Keys can be left as found when you check out.

“Comfortable Chalet in great location”

Peaceful location with some great walks near at hand. Ideal place from which to explore Loch Ness and the surrounding towns and villages. Warm and comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Lots of interesting wildlife around as well. Owners were very helpful with advice and information for walks.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review. Our location means that the chalet is a great base to explore from. The wildlife that frequent the chalet make it a great a great place to relax at too, should our guests require a battery recharge. Thank you again.

“Lovely setting but within easy driving distance of Inverness”

Beautiful quiet setting on Reelig Estate. Excellent friendly communications from owners. Inverness easily within driving distance with Beauly even closer for shops, cafes etc. Recommend the childrens farmyard experience located on the way to Beauly (think it was Robertsons?). Chalet very well equipped, great shower! Had everything you need inc hairdryer, selection of books and DVDs. I was there with my children and my mother. Lovely outdoor space - very quiet..with chalets interspersed around the trees - we didn't see any of the other occupants while we there. Was ideal for us as a base for travelling to Inverness on a shopping trip. Saw a lot of return visitors in the visitors book - spent an evening with the lights off in the chalet trying to spot a pine marten - alas no luck but so peaceful.

“Couldn't ask for anything better - peace, quiet and beauty”

The cottage was extremely clean and well presented with everything we needed; the layout of the cottage was great, especially with 2 dogs who loved the spacious kitchen and garden. We would definitely recommended this cottage to friends and family and would love to return sometime.
