The five bedroom luxury, self catering villa accommodation has three bright, airy en-suite bedrooms upstairs, two of which have walk in wardrobes and panoramic views over the Moray Firth and Inverness. The Scottish Highlands contains some of Europe's most extensive wilderness areas, some of which have been proclaimed as National Parks: The Cairngorms National Park - Scotland's largest National Park is about 30 mins drive. Muilean is an ideal location for exploring the Highlands as there is plenty to do in the local area and yet is only minutes away from the City Of Inverness and all its amenities. Muilean is near to Aviemore ski resort about 30 mins drive and is near to many golf courses.
This clean sunny 5 bedroom self catering villa has a glorious outlook and is a five minute drive to the North kessock village with shop and restaurant. The accommodation is only 10 minutes from Inverness City - Capital of the Highlands - with all it's amenities and is a mere 30min drive from the famous Loch Ness with it's Monster. The self catering accommodation also has easy access to a host of outdoor activities and is an excellent base for sightseeing in the Highlands of Scotland. A 30min drive will take you to Aviemore and the Cairngorms and there are many golf courses and clubs to visit in the area for your golfing holiday requirements. Castle Stuart , host of the Golf Scottish Open, is a mere 21min drive from the villa. Bogbain Adventure & Heritage Farm is 16min away. The accommodation is also set within a cove popular for dolphin spotting and there is a wide range of other local Scottish wildlife to spot in the region - pheasants and other birds are often spotted in the garden and surrounding woodlands. "Beautiful house and gorgeous location."
I stayed in this house with a large family group. We were very impressed with the house and the wonderful location. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable, and also very clean. The kitchen is large and well appointed and the bedrooms are really comfortable. The only small negative we would say is that the outside area of the house appears somewhat unfinished and is not very child friendly. I'm sure that is something which will be attended to though. Overall, I would highly recommend this house and would be very happy to stay there again.
We are at present building a large double garage for our larger groups of guests who may have 3-4 vehicles, boats, canoes and other water sport equipment. Whilst we have guests staying we do not do any of the building work. Due to the busy first year we have had and July being the peak holiday season where the house is fully booked, for safety reasons the garage area is cordoned off with fencing. I have noted on the website that there is open sea views to the front of the house with a beach and also a natural babbling burn coming down the boundary of the property. The woodlands and rear garden is terraced on a slope. Therefore young children would require to be supervised.

"A hidden Gem!!"
When I first arrived I wasn't sure what the winding one way track would result in. However I was taken a back by what i saw. The interior of the house is very modern but welcoming at the same time. The rooms were nice and spacious with the added luxury of en-suite bathrooms. This house created memories that will stay with me for a life time as I will never forget walking outside to the shore and watching the fireworks along the Inverness coast line. Thank You Carol for letting us use your home as it was more than we could of ever asked for.
