Description from owner

Description

Tornacarry is a well equipped self catering house which provides you with the ideal Highland retreat in the heart of Glengarry close to the village Invergarry in the Scottish Highlands.
A former schoolhouse dating from the 19th century. Here, you can enjoy total relaxation or total exertion as it is but a short drive from Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK. The house is centrally located which makes exploring the Highlands easy with Skye, Inverness, Loch Ness, and the Great Glen all within a short drive. You could simply relax and admire the views.
Well appointed throughout, there is self catering accommodation for up to 4 people. A large living room is at the centre of the house with views looking west over Loch Garry towards the mountains.
A large well equipped kitchen sits next to the separate dining room, again enjoying fantastic views across the loch.
There are two kingsize bedrooms, a bathroom/wc together with an additional ground floor shower room/wc.

Loch Garry is just metres away which makes it ideal for kayaking, canoeing and of course fishing.

The Highland Capital, Inverness, is just over an hours drive away and has everything youd expect in a modern city including the international airport.

About 30 miles to the south is the outdoor capital of the UK - Fort William which has a wide variety of facilities such as restaurants, supermarkets and petrol stations but it also boasts a huge collection of walking/climbing/cycling/skiing/snowboarding specialist shops so even if you forget something, worry not!
