Location description from owner

The Yorkshire region

The Yorkshire Dales is home to outstanding scenery, a rich cultural heritage and a breathtakingly peaceful atmosphere.

At its heart are two very special protected areas - Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Ingleton

Ingleton nestles at the foot of Ingleborough. Walks begin from the front door, whether you want to take a gentle stroll around the village, tackle the Waterfalls Walk or stride out onto Ingleborough itself.

As well as shops, pubs and cafés, Ingleton has a seasonal swimming pool (now open for the summer) and a climbing wall. An ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales – above and below ground!

“Faultless”

Reviewed 28 Sep 2016

Brilliant location on edge of village (pleasant 15 mins stroll to Co-op, pubs, fish & chips, bakery, a great Indian etc) - and there is a 'wow' moment on turning a corner! Encountered bats and sheep on our fist night out! Modern, light and clean with high end appliances: shower was great and washer dryer easy to operate (appliance booklets available) Not much of a view but did feel 'in the country' Easy to regulate temperature as good air flow through the flat (Juliette balcony) Very useful walks / maps / leaflets provided on things to do / where to eat Didn't need to take anything - towels, linen, very decent loo roll all provided Beds were very comfortable Easy to park Lots of storage space TV reception was awful but wifi worked without problem Easy to find and the Ingleton location was great for walks / caves on the doorstep as well as exploring with a car (the road to Hawes is a scenic delight) First experience of holiday rental - would go back again

“Perfect retreat!”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2012

Stayed here with 3 friends as we were taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge and we needed a good nights sleep before and after! 3 of us completed it (I didn't - must try harder!) The location couldn't be more perfect. Lots of walks right from the doorstep including the Ingleton Waterfalls walk. The accommodation is top quality. Immaculately clean and with lots of additional touches - posh biscuits, tea, coffee and milk - not always provided in so many self catering places. Tea towels, bed linen and fluffy towels were very welcome too - even a hairdryer. It's these extra little touches which make all the difference. Beautiful furnishings - free Wifi - and in a quiet courtyard setting. These are new apartments and only a couple of minutes walk to a great pub - Mason's Arms. The menu here looked great - sadly they had stopped serving by the time we returned from the challenge at 9.30pm! But the local Co-op had plenty of Pizzas so we didn't starve. Great communication from the owner - Jacqui. Will definitely recommend this apartment to anyone - and we hope to return for a more relaxing break :-)
