Verity Views is a beautiful Georgian grade 2 listed apartment in the bustling town of Ilfracombe, North Devon. With three bedrooms (one kingsize, one twin, and one single) and two bathrooms the apartment comfortably sleeps five people. French doors lead from both the main bedroom and the sitting room onto the balcony which has spectacular views across Ilfracombe harbour and out to sea. There is a modern kitchen and large sitting room with a dining table to seat six. There is also an allocated parking space right outside the front door.
The apartment is suitable for families, couples or small groups of friends as it is just a short walk from the Tunnels Beaches, Harbourside and High Street. A large selection of shops, restaurants and pubs can be found within a 5 minute walk of the apartment.
Ilfracombe is the perfect location to be based to take advantage of all that North Devon has to offer. Within 20 minutes drive of the town are many superb sandy beaches including Croyde (voted England's best beach), Woolacombe Bay (3 miles long) and Saunton Sands (the UK's best long boarding surfing beach). Ilfracombe is the centre for some of the finest walking and cycling country in England including the National Trust owned Torrs Walk, the Tarka Trail and Exmoor National Park's Valley of The Rocks. To the east of Ilfracombe are the unique villages of Lynton and Lynmouth linked by a Victorian funicular railway.

With the South West Coast Path National Trail on your doorstep, rated as one of the top walks to be found anywhere in the world by Lonely Planet and voted Britain's best walking route by the readers of walk magazine, it's easy to explore the 630 miles of spectacular coastline.
Exmoor National Park is close by, containing an amazing variety of landscapes within its 267 square miles. A unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland. Within the National Park are the unique twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth connected by a cliff top railway and Combe Martin whose beach is famous for its safety, fun activities of kayaking, rock pooling, dolphin watching and general cleanliness.
To the West are the beautiful Hartland Peninsula and the market town of Bideford. On the coast and Estuary you will find Appledore, Westward Ho! and Clovelly, one of the last feudal villages. South of Ilfracombe is Barnstaple with its famous Pannier Market and Butchers Row.
Although a car is advised to enable you to explore the area in full, there are a number of attractions within walking distance including the award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium, the unique Tunnels Beaches, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor, one of Britain's most haunted houses.
If it's entertainment you are looking for, you will find numerous events and festivals throughout the year in Ilfracombe, many based on the quayside at the historic harbour and at the prestigious Landmark Theatre on the seafront.
