Ilfracombe is at the centre of one of the most popular holiday regions in the UK and is where the rolling hills of Exmoor meet the dramatic cliffs and beaches of the stunning North Devon coast.

Then again, you can ignore all these and just chill. In a quiet, secluded cove, in a cosy country pub or in a modern bar overlooking the bobbing yachts in the harbour.

“Excellent All Round!”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2012

We stayed at Fisherman's cottage for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding at The Caves. We could not have found anywhere better! Lovely cottage with everything you need and within walking distance of the harbour (Verity was absolutely amazing!), shops and restaurants. Pub just across from the cottage - perfect. Peter and Adele were lovely, and we had brunch at Adele's cafe each day - recommended. We took our two jack russell puppies with us who enjoyed the experience immensely. Would not hesitate to stay at the cottage again if we re-visit Ilfracombe.
