Apartment 4, Crest Apartments (EX34 9BU) is an award winning (2018 travellers choice), beautifully appointed top floor Apartment with breathtaking sea views in arguably the finest location in Ilfracombe. All modern conveniences including free WiFi. Accessed by two short flights of stairs, it is finished to a high standard and will provide a quiet and relaxing stay.

Ideally situated just two minutes from the Harbour and the major attractions of Ilfracombe, the Tunnels beaches / wedding venue are just a 10 minute walk from the Apartment as is the Aquarium and it’s a short drive to the beautiful golden beaches of Woolacombe (voted one of the best beaches in UK in 2018), Croyde and Saunton.

At Ilfracombe harbour you can embark on a trip to Lundy island, book a day fishing, browse the quaint shops on the front or simply sit back and take in the truly spectacular sea views from the comfort of your living room. The Apartment is decorated in a stylish and modern fashion, with quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Free WiFi internet access. The kitchen is equipped with everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible and includes electric fan oven and grill with gas hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The dining area with large table to accommodate 4 people comfortably.

Bedroom with large double bed and comfortable mattress and a modern, clean and contemporary bathroom with shower over bath.

The Apartment will sleep two comfortably and a good quality sofa-bed in the lounge will provide ample sleeping arrangements for children or a second couple, small children to sleep in a cot to be arranged by yourselves.

Directly opposite the property there is an undercover parking space (Max height 7'), for one car, which is yours to use during your stay.

Getting around

If you don’t want to use your car the nearest bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the Apartment, buses run every 20 minutes and will take you Braunton or to Barnstaple for the more major shops. Why not venture further to Bideford or Westward Ho! or to beautiful Clovelly?? Travel East and visit Combe Martin or the Valley of the Rocks! Go explore North Devon!!

The Apartment will be available from 1pm on arrival day. If you could possibly text or call me when you are 30 minutes or so away I will meet you at the apartment with the keys and show you where to park. “Ideal location”

Clean and spacious apartment with everything that we needed. The binoculars were most welcome as we spent a lot of time looking at the sea view through the window. The location is ideal as pubs, restaurants and beaches are all within a couple of minutes walk. The parking space is quite tight if you have a large car and the shower is not ideal if you are 6ft plus. Overall a nice place to stay and we would recommend it.

“Fantastic apartment in Ilfracombe”

It was handy for everything. The view out of the lounge and kitchen windows was stunning! All the amenities were easily within walking distance. The car was under cover and therefore not subject to seagull attention!. All in all a great break!

The apartment is conveniently placed for all that Ilfracombe has to offer,we found our stay very quiet (apart from the gulls) but that really made us feel as though we were very much on holiday.We had everything we needed and the accomodation has had a lot of thought put into it.It was on the the 2nd floor ,but the climbing the stairs is worth it for the commanding view of the sea.The rooms were quite large and well laid out.We would thoroughly recommend this venue to any able bodied ,thats because the stairs although nice and wide could be a challenge for the less able bodied.There was a car space allocated to us which was a premium

Friendly & helpful touch with Andy, the owner, meeting us on arrival to hand over keys & show us round. Andy also leaves some complimentary milk & tea so you don't have to rush off to the shops straight away after arriving, which was nice! The apartment is modern, clean & has everything you might need for your stay. The position is brilliant, being only feet away from the sea, great if you like to just sit relaxing, while watching the sea, the boats & the birds coming & going. All the amenities you would expect, are just a few minutes walk away & it's a great base for exploring the area..... The apartment also has it's own off road parking, so no problems driving round for ages trying to find a space! One point, which can't really be helped, is that it is on the top floor, so might not be suitable for some with reduced mobility due to the stairs. I would recommend a visit to No 4 Crest Apartments to anyone ...We're sure to visit again sometime!!

We really felt at home in this lovely apartment, everything you need was there and having milk tea etc was a god send. Owners family were very welcoming.The photos of the apartment are true to life,yes the sea really is out of the window, loved getting up to the view.

Superb accommodation with everything that you could possibly need.Sea view was amazing.All amenities within a short walk.The apartment was spotless and Andy was most welcoming.We had a superb time and will be booking again and again.

“Short Break”

The photos really don't do the views justice. If you look down from your window, the sea is directly below you. It was so lovely to sit and have breakfast with breath taking views. The apartment is a 1 minute walk from Ilfracombe Harbour and the town centre, which allowed lovely walks to the Chapel, Victorian Bathing Pools and shops. The apartment is spotless, well equipped and the owners Andy and his Dad were extremely helpful. Parking is on your doorstep, however had we brought our larger estate car we may have struggled as it is very tight. Highly recommend this apartment and we will certainly be visiting again.

How do damage deposits work?
