The apartment is situated in a quiet and green area without a street nearby. It is 45 square meters, consists of a big kitchen completely equipped (but no dishwasher)with a balcony, a big double -bed room-sitting room (TV, SAT, air conditioned), a small room with a qeeen beds and a bathroom (no washing machine). The big room has a balcony with a sea view to the town port and the "Pakleni" islands.

Pets are allowed with an extra charge of 5 EUR/night.

Smoking is allowed on the terrace, not inside the apartment.

There are a lot of excursion s organized by Agencies or private taxi drivers and taxi sailors.Renting boats, motorbicycles,bicycles, cars are options as well. Guiding. tours around the town are offered,too. .

Very Good

“Central Hvar with a stunning harbour view”

Myself and my boyfriend spent a lovely 4 nights at Apartment Masha and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Hvar! Olga, Uri and Masha (the cutest dog!) had an extremely warm welcome for us, with welcome and leaving drinks and tips for our trip and this really made our stay so personal. The apartment is spotlessly clean, quiet and just like the images provided. The best part is definitely the stunning view of the harbour - the best view to wake up to!! The balcony was perfect for breakfast and for some wine before dinner. Miserola is a lovely local restaurant we loved which we were recommended by Olga and the apartment is really close to all the wine bars and pubs!! Definitely walk up to the fortress in the evening for amazing views and during the day get the boat taxis (40 kuna return) to some of the local pakleni Islands for a day of sunbathing and lunch away from the sometimes crowded centre of the town. There are a number of steps to the apartment but this is to be expected everywhere in Hvar, especially for this proximity to the centre and it wasn't a disadvantage for us. It was lovely to get an insight into Olga and Uri's life living in Hvar, they are such lovely people and we only wish we had more time to hire a car and travel around!! Aoife xx

“Exceptional hospitality, great views, good location”

Aside from the beautiful views and location, what sets Apartment Masha apart is the hospitality of the owners. Olga and Jure (and their friendly poodle, Masha!) go the extra mile in welcoming guests and clearly take their role as hosts (as opposed to landlords) very seriously. We felt very much like we were staying in their home and were, in fact, welcomed into their own apartment downstairs for drinks and guidance. They are eager for their guests to enjoy the many options that Hvar affords and will happily give advice on trips, sights, restaurants etc. Olga's kindness and helpfulness even stretched to doing 2 loads of washing (and even ironing!) for us which we greatly appreciated. Even when Hvar suffered a brief power cut one evening, Olga came to check we were ok and to bring candles. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the town, port, restaurants, bars and shops. There is a well-stocked Konzum 10 min away which, together with the well-equipped kitchen, makes it very feasible to self-cater when you wish to. There are a lot of stairs to the apartment from sea-level which one really feels in the intense heat of August (we hit a heatwave!) and which would've been tricky to negotiate if we'd had anything other than backpacks. However, the streets and alleyways are exquisitely picturesque and the payoff for your effort is a wonderful view over the sea and Pakleni Islands from the balcony and main room. There is constant activity in the town and port as boats come and go but a sense of quiet and peace at the apartment, slightly removed from the hubbub. The main bedroom cum lounge is airy, bright, comfortable and air-conditioned. It opens onto a narrow balcony which easily accommodates 4 chairs and a small table along with a useful washing stand. The views, by day and night, are just lovely. The second bedroom is really small, just fitting a double bed & a bedside table with a fan. To be fair, the listing does make this clear and as long as it suits you for the 3rd/4th members of your group to hang out in the main room when not sleeping, then this is feasible. There is a large, comfortable corner sofa in the main room. Certainly if there are only 2 staying here, it is a really comfortable apartment. The kitchen has a table and chairs along with fridge/freezer, cooker and pretty much everything you need. There is ample storage space in the entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom itself is adequate (although the toilet seat kept falling off but I'm sure this will be attended to) and a strong shower. There were plenty of towels and soap and things like washing up liquid were helpfully provided. The wi-fi connection was strong. Hvar is a bustling, beautiful place and we had a lovely time.
