Located in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint near the vibrant city of Brighton it is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the stunning South Downs. Langton Lodge luxury country cottage offers unrivalled self-catering facilities for up to 6 people and perfectly poised within touching distance of the vibrant city of Brighton, the South Downs and Gatwick Airport.

Langton Lodge lends itself in a unique way to every season, providing a cosy bolt hole in winter whilst holding it’s own with any exclusive Mediterranean hideaway in the summer. Langton Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind all year round!

Take a dip in the large private heated swimming pool or enjoy the full big screen cinematic experience and a game of pool or table tennis in our Laurie Bar and Games room. Wander through the picturesque local countryside or alternatively use Langton Lodge as the perfect base for exploring Sussex. There is plenty to do in the area, with many places to visit for both adults and children, its ideal for family holidays, reunions or a celebration break.

Langton Lodge is situated in the grounds of the owners’ grade II listed home located on a quiet country lane. It overlooks a private enclosed front garden and to the rear is a large private heated swimming pool set in a continental style courtyard. It is contemporary, stylish and spacious. Walking into the property you enter into the open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge, the perfect space to entertain friends and family!

Cook a feast in the fully equipped modern kitchen, you can dine in comfort with the six seater dining area or relax in the luxurious lounge space. Langton Lodge also has a second entertaining area, The Laurie Bar & Games Room, adding an extra dimension to the level of facilities on offer all year round. You can mix your own cocktails at the bar and enjoy relaxing on the sofas with views over the swimming pool with cosy proximity to the wood burning stove for the winter months.

A state of the art cinema projector screen also allows you to sit back in front of a DVD or your favourite sport. Or if you prefer you can just listen to your own music wirelessly from your smartphone/iphone by just simply downloading an app. Through a set of double French doors there is the adjoining Games room which has a pool table and fold away table tennis table. There is also a separate WC and changing room/boot room should you wish to use it.

There are three bedrooms & two bathrooms. The elegant master suite has a vaulted ceiling and a super king size bed with double doors out onto the pool side, as well as an en-suite with large double ended bath and a shower designed for two. The second bedroom has a stylish black and white decor with views of the garden residing just next to the attractive family bathroom which has a bath and over-head shower. The third bedroom is Indonesian in style with twin beds overlooking the swimming pool courtyard.

When the weather is fine, soak up the sun on the loungers provided around the heated swimming pool. Swimming pool heated from Mid May - Mid September (weather permitting). The pool is closed between October - end of April. Or relax and enjoy a BBQ on the deck of your private and enclosed front garden.

The owners of this property cater for every possible holiday need to an outstanding level. The wealth of facilities at Langton ensures plenty of choice for all guests to enjoy themselves whatever the weather! An early morning swim before breakfast was a daily pleasure and with so many enjoyable places to visit and explore nearby our stay passed all too quickly! already looking forward to a return visit!

We have just had the most amazing holiday staying at Langton Lodge. The house is beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained. Great beds, duvets and plentiful provision of towels. Kitchen very well-equipped with an abundance of crockery, glasses an utensils - a rare occurrence in most holiday lets. Gill and Vicki are delightful - charming and hugely helpful if needed but otherwise discreet and unobtrusive - a perfect combination. The pool is stunning and given the Mediterranean weather we had, we spent most of our time swimming and reading. Langton Lodge is faultless and we look forward to returning.

We had an amazing week here, we only left the property twice in the whole weeks stay, the pool is amazing and the property oozes quality, superbly equipped. The cinema room is fantastic with the added bonus of soundproofing so as not to disturb younger children with earlier bed times. couldn't have wished for a nicer place to stay and the owners are very friendly yet never intrusive. Thanks Gill and Vicky for an amazing week Would 100% recommend this place to anybody reading this
