Shallow Bay Beach House is located just outside Hopkins Village in Belize. From this location, you can enjoy life in a real working seaside community along with a full spectrum of the traditional and leading edge, both in music and food. This vibrant community will not leave you unchanged. Enjoy your privacy and creature comforts, dip into the sea, or immerse yourself in a new culture—all from Shallow Bay Beach House, your private beach house.

This two-unit Beach House overlooking the Caribbean Sea is just a few miles to the south of the friendly village of Hopkins Belize. Bringing together the best of two worlds, the owners combine the comfort and artistic style with the natural exotic beauty of Belize. Each unit, adorned with handcrafted stain glass and rich mahogany woodwork, has a spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a roomy bathroom with a large mosaic shower. The east-facing walls have large glass windows, keeping the sea always in view.

The ground floor, Shallow Waters has two bedrooms with queen size beds and a covered veranda facing the sea. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans and all the comforts of home.

The resort area is minutes away with restaurants and bars and offers golf cart and kayak rentals. The village of Hopkins provides local charm, culture, food and music and the friendliest people on earth. Tours for all of Belize can be easily arranged through the resorts or by contacting local guides. Hike the jungle, engage the sea, climb a Mayan ruin. or watch the local birds, all from Shallow Bay Beach House.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rita (the owner) a message.

If Rita (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
