The Knot is a really delightful 2 bedroom detached cottage set in the heart of Hope Cove.

The property has been finished to a high standard with a nautical theme throughout.

With an upside down living arrangement, the open plan kitchen, dining and living area located upstairs provides a really lovely light and airy space to enjoy the views across the village to the sea.

Upon entering The Knot you are immediately struck by the tasteful and modern design giving the immediate feel that you are holidaying by the sea!

On this floor is a double bedroom furnished with a king size bed with matching bedside units. There is a built in wardrobe plus chest of drawers. There is also the added luxury of a wall mounted television!

A folding door opens on to the hidden en suite shower room. This is fitted as a wet room with shower unit, low level wc and sink unit.

Access to the en suite is quite narrow!

Bedroom 2 is furnished with 2 single beds and a range of built in wardrobes. Accessorized in the same nautical theme found throughout the cottage this room comes with it’s own port hole window!

The family bathroom is also on the ground floor and comprises of a lovely modern suite with bath and shower over, wc and sink. Blue folding shutters complete the look!

Upstairs there is the most wonderful feeling of light. With huge windows that give you views across fields to one side and the sea in the distance to the other, this living space is truly lovely.

The room is stylishly furnished with 2 two seater leather sofas with matching chairs and coffee table. The tv unit houses the flat screen tv with freeview and dvd player. There are large French Windows that open up on to a Juliette balcony.

The dining area seats 4 comfortably with 4 chairs and an unusual, quirky painted wooden bench.

At the end of this room, overlooking the front of the property is the modern kitchen fitted with a range of units, oven and matching microwave, dishwasher and full size fridge freezer.

The wooden shutters and another port hole window complete the nautical theme.

To the front of the property is an enclosed patio area with raised flower borders and furnished with wooden table and chairs for a spot of el fresco dining.

The Knot has wifi but unfortunately as with most villages in the South Hams there is no signal for mobiles.

There is off road parking for 2 cars.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Patsy (the owner) a message.

If Patsy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
