“Lovely cottage in Hooe, a quiet comfortable village”

Reviewed 10 Dec 2013

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely cottage, my husband, our two children and I, and we felt very comfortable, just as if we were at home. The cottage is very well furnished and equipped and it has a cosy little garden, that looks right on the Lake, where we had our breakfast and dinner every day, since we have been very lucky with the weather. The nearby pub, very close to the cottage, was a nice company: cold beers at hand and sometimes live music during our dinners, but not until late. There is a bus stop very close and a small ferry that takes you to Plymouth in a few minutes. The surroundings are beautiful and the people are very friendly. We really had a lovely stay!
