Description from owner

Description

Holly Cottage is an utterly charming Devon cottage converted from an old stone and cob milking parlour, which is tucked away in the further most corner of Red Doors Farm. It has the most cosy, welcoming and peaceful feel and has been credited with the Visit England 5* Gold award. Holly Cottage can sleep 2 people plus 1 baby in a cot. The lounge is an inviting, homely space with an Inglenook fireplace, which houses the log burning stove. The kitchen has bespoke handmade wooden storage cupboards and drawers and is fully equipped with everything one would expect in a modern kitchen. The recently refurbished bedroom is complete with a king size bed fitted with a vi-Spring mattress and hypoallergenic bedding and has views of the gardens and Otter Valley on two sides. The en suite bathroom has also been recently refurbished with modern white suite and power shower over the bath. Outside is a pretty terraced garden with seating for two, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside and the Otter Valley beyond.

Interaction with guest

We endeavour to personally greet each and every guest and carry out a guided tour on arrival, in order that our guests feel at home almost immediately. We live on site, so are on hand should anything go wrong, or if you require suggestions on which attractions to visit. We also do our interactive animal feeding with our younger guests every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. Children get to feed and cuddle the Red Doors pets and we get to watch their confidence grow as the week progresses.
