Description

The Colonel's Lodge is a converted grain store, situated in the picturesque Holywood Hills in Co.Down Northern Ireland.

It comes with its own private garden with outdoor furniture. It has a spacious open plan kitchen/living room, a sitting room, a single bedroom and a separate bathroom downstairs as well as a cosy double bedroom under the rafters in an upstairs open gallery. In the sitting room downstairs there is sofa bed also for extra sleeping areas

The kitchen has a fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher and an oil fired range which does the cooking and heating. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, drying rack and second fridge. Here you will also find ample secure storage for bicycles, golf clubs and fishing gear. The Lodge has a television and a DVD player in the sitting room, as well as televisions in each of the bedrooms. There is also a radio and free WIFI.

The private garden is made up of a small lawn and paved area and there is also an outdoor clothes line all in an enclosed area.

Pre-arranged pets are welcome but children and animals must be supervised at all times as the property is on a working farm.

We are 15 minutes from the George Best City Airport, 45 minutes from Belfast International Airport and 20 minutes from the Belfast Port

The City centre of Belfast is 20 minutes away with easy quick access to Bangor, Holywood, Newtownards and Dundonald all with in 10 minutes

Mount Stewart House and Gardens are a 20 minute drive away and The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum is just 5 minutes down the road. The famous Titanic Quarter is only 15 minutes away from the lodge.

It is a legal requirement for all accommodation providers in Northern Ireland to be certified by Tourism NI in order to operate. We are proud to confirm that The Colonel’s Lodge has been inspected by Tourism NI and holds a valid operating certificate.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Charlotte (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
