We extend to everyone a really warm welcome, we offer you good Farmhouse Accommodation, with a family atmosphere.
Part of our Farmhouse dates back to the 16th century, with inglenook fireplaces, beams & flag stone floors, take the opportunity to relax unwind and enjoy our lovely Farmhouse, wake up to birds singing, go for a wander through our fields or by the stream at the bottom of the farm. Watch our animals being fed, horse riding is available just two miles away.
Thorne Park is a 100 acre working farm situated in a beautiful part of Devon known as Ruby Country, its tranquillity, gentle rolling hills and stunning views make this an ideal location. We are just a short distance from the market town of Holsworthy, the Devon/Cornwall border is just 4 miles, and Bude 10 miles with its breathtaking scenery and surfing beaches. Explore the surrounding countryside coast and moors or take a trip to Eden or Clovelly. Horse Riding, Fishing, Golf and shooting all nearby, cycle ways, walks and National Trust Properties abound in this area.

Beech House is a character Farmhouse with slate flag stone floors, beams and inglenook fireplaces, although we have retained its charm, the house has a well equipped kitchen and en suite bathrooms, your comfort is our main concern. We also have an extra separate downstairs double en suite bedroom available, also two en suite Bed & Breakfast Rooms.

Beech House has its own private garden with HOT TUB, BBQ. and Garden furniture, beyond the garden is the playarea. Next to the play area is small field where we usually have some chickens and sheep which can be fed by our guests. Also available is a games room with ball pond, table tennis and selection of toys and bikes. Guests are also welcome to wander through our farmland and see the wildlife and flower filled hedgerows, or walk by the small stream at the bottom of the farm.

Although smoking is not permitted in the house, Guests are welcome to smoke outside the property.
Pets - dogs can be accommodated but sorry we do not allow them in the Main House, dogs are welcome to sleep in the boot room off the kitchen or we can provide a kennel.
The Devon region
Beech House is situated 11/2 miles from the market town of Holsworthy situated in Ruby Country, This area is ideal for walking with parts of the Old Bude to Holworthy Canal very near our Farm. This part of Devon is very unspoilt with beautiful Rolling countryside and beautiful village and towns. From here it is really easy to get to Eden, Clovelly, RHS Rosemoor at Torrington, the area is great for walking cycling or visiting the many National Trust Properties in both Devon and Cornwall. The coast at Bude and the coastal footpath are just 10 miles away. Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are all with in easy reach.
Holsworthy is a lovely rural market town, it has one of the few remaining cattle markets in the South West this happens each Wednesday, as well as the cattle market there is a Street Market in the town square. In July each year we have a week of events and a Historic event called 'The Pretty Maid Ceremony.' Holsworthy is in a part of the country known as Ruby Country, named after the famous Ruby Red Cattle, the landscape with its rolling hills and sleepy villages is truly beautiful. Available in Holsworthy is sports centre and swimming pool, just a couple of miles away is Holsworthy golf course, Horse riding is also available in Holsworthy, nearby Fishing can be found at Tamar Lakes and Roadford Lakes as well as other watersports and activities, other fishing is available just outside Holsworthy. The Tarka Trail and Ruby Country trails are nearby. This area is ideal for both walking and cycling with the coast only ten miles away.
