The receptionist were very helpful and the security was superb. The property was clean and all amenities were very convenient. The help given by the security desk when needed.

We have just returned after spending 32 days in this lovely apartment. Considering this is a holiday apartment it had everything you could possibly want. Beautifully decorated, lovely walk-in shower, great views and convenient for Shops, beach and restaurants. My favourite spot was on one of the very comfortable loungers on the balcony drinking my run and coke, while my husband, who is a chef, was cooking our evening meal in the kitchen, which was more than adequately stocked with equipment. We have been coming to Barbados for 25 years and are so happy to have at last found our home from home, and will hopefully be returning to Cynthia & Barry for many more years.

We have been going to Golden View for many years, and walking into Cynthia's and Barry's bright , clean and airy apartment is like coming home. There is everything you need for stress-free break – even the kitchen knives are sharp! The decoration of the apartment is regularly refreshed so it never looks tired. And we like the Caribbean style of wicker furnishing with the splash of colour that seems to bring the garden indoors. The lounges on the balcony are very comfortable for catching the afternoon sun. Watching the sunset from the balcony with a glass of rum punch is a great way to start an evening. Golden View is a block of apartments with a residents' car park on one side and a pretty well kept garden on the other, containing large swimming pool and bar/restaurant. There is a handy laundrette, and the common room contains shelves of paperbacks – ideal holiday reading. The place if very safe. There is wi-fi, easily accessible in the foyer, and I understand it is to be rolled out to the entire block. Golden View is very peaceful. The only noise you will hear from your balcony is birdsong in the morning and Barbados's ubiquitous piping frogs in the evening – a lovely sound. You might be lucky and spot a troop of green monkeys making a dash across the garden lawn. There are some very good restaurants within walking distance and a large supermarket and a little row of boutiques in pretty wooden chattel houses. We have been coming to Barbados every year for over twenty years. We stay at Cynthia and Barry's apartment every time it is available and their apartment is one of the reasons why we keep going back.
