Sleeping 7 in 3 bedrooms Two Hoots holiday cottage is close to Freshwater East Beach in a rural lane within the hamlet of Hodgeston. located in the National Park. We are dog friendly.

It is midway between historic Pembroke and lively Tenby.

Deceptively spacious, the cottage was custom built as a holiday home in 2006 from a former outbuilding of Grade II listed neighbouring Hodgeston Hall. Great care has been taken to empathise with its surroundings - the exterior being built of old, local limestone, whilst internally it has all that is required for modern living.

There is a bathroom / shower upstairs and an en-suite shower room downstairs.

A walled garden to front and rear make it very safe for little ones and pets and the 'Access Only' lane outside ensures their further safety. There is secure parking for 3 + cars on the gravel drive.

There is plenty to do and see in this lovely part of Wales and clues to its Norman history and ancient past are all around, with the magnificent castles of Pembroke, Manorbier and Carew hosting regular events. Water Sports, Karting, Horse Riding, Boat Trips, Fishing, Golf or Walking the Coastal Footpath are just a few of the holiday activities available. Freshwater and Manorbier beaches are a firm favourite with surfers and kayakers, whilst Bosherston lilly ponds provides excellent fishing. The award-winning Barafundle Bay is within 5 miles and if walking is your interest, the coastal footpath is at the top of the lane outside the cottage.

You can hop on and off the Coastal Cruiser bus if you don't want to walk back! Whichever holiday activity you prefer - Pembrokeshire delivers!

House rules

Two Hoots cottage is ideal for families enjoying typical Pembrokeshire activities. Pets are welcome on request and at no extra cost, excepting damage.
Due to the bathroom layouts, it is not practical as a base for working contractors or full to the brim with adults, i.e. One Family Bathroom with Bath, Shower, Washbasin & WC, plus One en-suite Shower room with WC and Washbasin.
Normal changeover day is Saturday. At busy times it is unlikely that alternative changeover days can be accepted.

“perfect accommodation for 6 adults who enjoy walking”

The cottage was perfectly placed for the coastal path, and equally important the local pub was only 20 mins away up the lane, food and the warm welcome were appreciated. The bedrooms were comfortable the living area spacious and probably the most thoughtfully equipped accomodation I have ever stayed in. The weather was good and we would hope to return.

We had a great week at Two Hoots. It's ideally situated, not more than 1/2 hour from anything that we wanted to see or do. We've visited castles, had beach days at Tenby, Freshwater and the beautiful Barafundle Bay. We visited Folly Farm a lovely day out for young and old alike. When the weather wasn't so good we had a day at The Blue Lagoon Water Park kids loved it!! We've dined at some great places too, especially our last evening at Waves Cliff Top restaurant at Celtic Haven. Two Hoots catered for all our needs, being extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere in and around the cottage is very relaxing, birds, bats and all.
