Description from owner

Description

The River Wye flows directly in front of the house. A multitude of outdoor activities very nearby including canoeing, fishing, walking, bike riding and outdoor pursuits. Hereford and Ross-on-Wye both within 15 minute drives and the Welsh Mountains equally accessible. The house benefits from a large open open plan living room with full height double concertina doors which open onto a dining terrace with panoramic views of the river. The second twin is set up as a children's room with small attached TV/DVD den to provide a separate space for children to play.It is rare for property to be sited right on the banks of a river - with only a narrow country lane separating the two. The property sits high up enough to afford fabulous views. The cottage enjoys a south-easterly aspect so that you can enjoy fabulous sunrises.

Access please note: there are 32 wide shallow steps with handrail up to the property from the parking ( 2 spaces). Fishing info from wyeuskfoundation website

Location description from owner

The Herefordshire region

Herefordshire is an amazing place, there is so much beautiful countryside and so few people here ! The view from this house is across to the other side of the river where there are no roads, just fields, horses and woodland as far as the eye can see. The area is not really well known and we hope to keep it that way - a hidden secret !

Hoarwithy

The river Wye has been recognised for its beauty ever since tourists started coming to the area in the late 1700s.The village of Hoarwithy has remained largely unchanged and is about as quiet and peaceful as you could wish for.
