Description

Chewton Glen Lodges are a pair of brand new luxurious timber constructed Log Cabins nestled beautifully within the leafy grounds of New Milton, close to Hinton and situated within the Chewton Glen Valley on the Hampshire/Dorset border between the sea and the stunning New Forest. Set back from the road and bound by extensive hedge screening, the cabins sit within a generous plot and offers plenty of outside space for children and for picnics/al-fresco dining/bbq's. Chewton Glen Lodges are within walking distance (approx 25 minutes) to the local Highcliffe beach and Cliff Hanger Café and is close to Highcliffe Castle and Tea Rooms. Within driving distance you can also discover the quaint villages of Burley and Beaulieu where ponies and cattle roam freely around the village. Also close by is Lymington, a beautiful georgian market town with some interesting designer boutiques and marina with ferry connections to Isle of White. The lodges are ideally located for walkers and cyclists too.

East Lodge is a 1 bedroom complex and can accommodate 3 guests comfortably but can sleep up to 4 guests. The bed offers flexibility as they zip and link and can also be used as 2 single beds. There is a Sofa bed in the Lounge which sleeps 1 adult or 2 small children comfortably. I can also provide a folding Z Bed which can sleep 1. Please let me know your preference so that we can dress the beds accordingly. I can provide a travel cot and high chair on request.

Chewton Glen Lodges offer a unique holiday experience. For last minute bookings or short stays please contact me for a special deal. I am happy to be flexible to accommodate your holiday requirements.

A unique complimentary selection of food essentials will be provided upon your arrival. The complimentary pack consists of: A selection of coffee, decaf coffee, tea bags, sugar, biscuits, butter/marg, a small bloomer/loaf, a selection of Jams, semi skimmed Milk and a selection of cereals.

There is ample off road parking available

The kitchen is fully equipped, with cooker, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment. washing machine, kettle and toaster.

We also provide, DAB portable Radio and TV with built in DVD player

Our Bedrooms come fully furnished with Wardrobes and Bedside Units. We like to spoil our guests with Luxury Bedding, Fluffy Towels and King Size Beds with Deep Quilted Handmade Luxury Millbrook Matresses. Our bathrooms are finished to a high specification and include Mira Power Showers, Low profile shower trays and double Shower Cubicles.

There is internet access.

There is private access to the lodge along with a secure private garden.

For a special touch to your stay, we can provide picnic baskets. The baskets are fully equipped for that perfect picnic in the forest or on the beach with ice packs, ceramic plates and stainless steel cutlery, just add food. We can accommodate couples and families. For cyclists and walkers we have a perfectly equipped rucksack with everything you need including cheese board!

Chewton Glen West Lodge is now complete and we are taking bookings. West Lodge provides 2 separate bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) and is finished to the same high standards and finish as East Lodge.

If you are looking to accommodate up to 7/8 guests, I am happy to allow bookings for both cabins.

Although West Lodge is configured for 4 guests, I am happy to accommodate 2 guests If East Lodge is booked up for your dates. Please contact me when booking and I will honour the same price.

Interaction with guest

We will be there to meet and greet you on arrival. We like to give our guest a warm welcome and a quick run down of the Cabin and surrounding area. Keys will be handed to you in person and we will remain on call should you have any problems or queries during your stay.

Lovely place very accommodating everything you need. I found all the leaflets very helpful as we decided how to spend our time there from them. Only downside I couldn’t find a pen to write in your comments books :(. Very clean and warm def would recommend .

Very friendly welcome, exceptional welcome pack and information layout. The lodge was very well equipped with every thing you need and more. Rooms were very clean,spacious. The bed was big and comfy. The shower was big enough to not put your rear end on cold tiles . We will be going back.

I was made to feel very welcome and felt like I'd known Rod for years. The lodge is beautiful, the 'finish' is first class and there is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Items of particular note are the bathroom, the shower is brilliant, the bed is very comfortable and there is everything you could need in the kitchen area. Oh and the welcome basket was greatly appreciated. All in all a perfect stay & I would definitely recommend to others.

We had a nice couple of days with my son who slept on the sofa bed. The accommodation was excellent and impeccably clean. The cabin is ideally situated for visits to New Forest or Christchurch.

I have always wanted to stay in a log cabin & my wish came true. This is a new, simple but quality appointed cabin thoughtfully outfitted. Probably best suited to a couple but can accommodate children also. The bed is a dream. Response to my booking was prompt and reassuring. The hosts Rod & Steve were friendly & keen to ensure our comfort. There was a lovely basket of a few essential items & goodies to start us off which was very welcome as it saved us from having to find a shop. The location is easy for the sat/Nav and is in a lovely setting close to the New Forest. There are many other popular places & seaside within easy driving distance including shops & local inns. We were on holiday from AustraliaI and this was certainly the best highlight. We absolutely recommend this charming place and hosts for comfort, location & value. Roslyn & Tony from Down Under.

How do damage deposits work?

If Stephen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
