Such a fantastic place to stay! Property was immaculate and all home comforts. On arrival was met by Rebecca who was lovely and had left basics of bread, milk and butter with some amazing homemade shortbread and blackberry jam! The house was set in such a beautiful location, the views were just breathtaking! The trampoline and games room werr fab for the kids, keeping them entertained! Wish we were staying longer than a week! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your lovely review, we were delighted to have you stay and so pleased you found everything to your liking, and of course we are looking forward to seeing you again. PS mum's delighted with your mention of the shortbread and jam, just last week she entered them into a local competition and got first prize for both!!

“Wonderful stay in this high spec. eco-friendly accommodation.”

For Christmas 2012 my husband and I stayed for a week in "Croob View" , using the cottage as a base from which to visit family and friends. Glenn was there to meet us when we arrived, and he had thoughtfully lit the wood-burning stove to add to the cosy ambiance. There was also a plate of delicious home made biscuits, a bottle of Bucks Fizz and some further basic provisions which were all very much appreciated. The semi-detached house is newly built to a very high specification, and has additional green credentials such as a heat exchange system, rain water harvesting and solar panels to heat the water (with a back up immersion heater if necessary). The house is very comfortable indeed, with all appliances and furniture being of a high standard, and the ground floor has been thoughtfully laid out in such a way as to be easily accessible by guests for whom mobility is limited. There are lovely views over the surrounding countryside from all the windows. Children too are catered for with a separate games room, (for the use of the guests of both rental properties) with table-tennis, mini pool table, and mini table football. A nearby sunken trampoline also looked very tempting! We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this cottage and would recommend it unreservedly.

Owner's reply: Glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for taking time to review.
