“Beautiful Spacious House”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2016

Beautiful comfortable home. Even though it was in an estate, it was set back from the other houses, hidden amongst trees. This gave it more privacy. The house was well equipped, with plenty of room for the four children to play. The kitchen/dining room was lovely and spacious as was the main lounge. The house was in easy reach of Aviemore by car, as we had small children with us, we did not attempt to walk, as it looked quite far by foot. Our only complaint would be a lack of toilet roll. There was only about 1/4 roll in each bathroom and no spares, so we had to run out and buy some more. We all had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.

“Fantastic Getaway - Beautiful Home”

Reviewed 21 May 2015

I arranged a birthday surprise for my partners birthday for us and his close friends to attend the Carn Mhor Lodge in Aviemore. Organising with Sarah was straightforward and I found her extremely helpful throughout the entire process from booking to leaving Carn Mhor. The house itself was beautiful, set back from the other homes in the area up a long drive with space for plenty of cars. The home was fantastically spacious with 2 lounges and 3 floors to accommodate the 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. I stayed in the master bedroom with my partner which was beautiful. The rainfall shower was an added bonus for us too. Carn Mhor is fantastic for a large gathering of friends and/or family with the large dining kitchen opening up onto the balcony through large patio doors. With the lodge sleeping up to 9 people it was also extremely affordable and with it being a brand new home it is very good value for money. We enjoyed a fantastic stay in the house and in Aviemore, and as it is close to the town, everything was just a short taxi ride away. We look forward to returning to Carn Mhor in the very near future!

“Absolutely Fantastic, All Home Comforts And More Could Not Fault It”

Reviewed 20 May 2015

We had a fantastic weekend at the Carn Mhor Lodge. The house is just amazing. Even better in real life than in the photos. An excellent base for visiting the Cairngorms national Park and further beyond. The accommodation is first class, very clean, well equipped and lacking for nothing. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.
