There is something for everyone in and around Aviemore, with a full range of outdoor activities to suit the season. Nestling in the Spey valley with the spectacular Cairngorm mountains as a backdrop, Aviemore is an ideal centre for a self catering holiday at any time of the year and where better to stay than Corrie View.

Corrie View, is a spacious split level detached four bedroomed holiday home in the prestigious High Burnside development within the Cairngorms National Park, ideal for self catering holidays. It benefits from full oil fired central heating, triple glazing and a wood burning stove in the sitting room. Corrie View is an excellent holiday home for family and friends to gather – there is plenty of space with 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a room for the children with Sky free view television. It is only a 15 minute walk via the the new Orbital path into the centre of Aviemore village with its shopping, bars and restaurants.

Corrie View is situated on the prestigious High Burnside development on the edge of Aviemore. It was built by Highland based builders, Tulloch Homes, and purchased by its current owners at the end of July 2011. During the Autumn of 2011 Corrie View was fitted out to a very high standard to ensure a comfortable stay in homely surroundings. The split level design ensures a large living area and four double bedrooms

Entrance Hall

Tiled entrance hall with spacious central stair and landings and cloakroom. There is ample hanging space and storage for outdoor footwear. Three stairs lead to the living area.

Living Area

The living area comprises a large sitting room that connects to the dining and kitchen area by three wide steps. The family room is also on the same floor and there is oak flooring throughout the living area. The sitting room is a large comfortable bright and airy room facing south with views of the Cairngorms. There are two large comfortable leather sofas and two arm chairs, plenty of seating to accommodate guests. A wood burning stove provides both heat and cosy atmosphere on cold winter nights; a supply of logs is left for all guests. Although a wood burning stove is available it is not essential as the central heating system, triple glazing and high thermal efficiency make Corrie View a very warm house. Entertainment is provided by a 42” flat screen TV with Sky + entertainment and sport package, Bose docking station, free WIFI access and a selection of games and books.

The family room has a sky free view television and DVD player. There is a sofa bed that can be used for guests by arrangement with the owners prior to booking. French doors lead out on to an enclosed back garden.

The kitchen is fitted out and equipped to a very high standard with oiled oak worktops and a granite island. Double oven and ceramic hob, large fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and microwave are provided. The dining area has a large oak table that can seat eight people in comfort. A high chair is available but must be requested at booking. Next to the kitchen is a utility with sink, washing machine and tumble drier; this leads out to the back garden with rotary washing line.

Bedrooms

Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and en suite facilities, the other two rooms have zip and link twin beds. There is a large family bathroom with shower for the rooms without en suite facilities. Three of the bedrooms have built in wardrobes and one with a free standing unit. Additional hanging and storage space is available in the large airing cupboard. All of the bed lined is high quality Egyptian Cotton. A travel cot can be provided without linen and should be requested at time of booking.

Outside

There is an enclosed back garden for a safe area where children can play or adults relax. Garden furniture and barbecue is available between April and November. A garage has been converted for use as a drying room and storage of out door equipment, such as bikes. Ski racks are available and a drying space for boots, wet gear, ski wear and outdoor clothing. Off road parking is available for two large vehicles.
