From the owner

Villa Killara is a well-equipped holiday villa with a pool. The property, grounds, and pool are totally private and not shared with any other guests. It is surrounded by tall conifers, a small vineyard, with olives, figs, and other fruit trees, as well as various shrubs and flowers. Seasonal fruit is available free to guests. It is a little retreat away from the touristy area, somewhere to escape and relax after a busy year at work, yet, it's not isolated, and only a 10-minute drive from the beaches. It is equally suited for couples seeking a relaxing holiday in a peaceful and quiet location, as well as families with older children. The accommodation is divided into 2 separate units, of which one is a Studio with a separate entrance from the garden affording total privacy to each of two couples, parents with older children, grandparents or a nanny. The villa nest on fully fenced 2,500m2 private land and is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. The facilities include a dishwasher and washing machine, air-condition units, free Wi-Fi, and many other. Bed linen and hand/bath/kitchen/pool towels are provided and changed weekly, although you can request a change at any time.

Outside, is a built-in barbeque for al fresco dining with a choice of two sitting areas; around the barbeque, or under the covered terrace in front of the one-bedroom apartment, used daily as an extension of the living area. There is also a sun terrace with sun loungers for soaking up the sun during the day or star gazing at night. The pristine pool is great for adults to cool down and for children to have fun. The pool and the garden are cleaned every other day. Baby cot and high chair can be provided free of charge when requested.

The property is a short drive from the nearest resorts of Herceg-Novi and Igalo, where beaches, shops, restaurants, and nightlife can be found.

The property is located in a rural location but it's not isolated.

Quality restaurants serving gourmet meals are only a minute's drive away in Igalo, Meljine, and Herceg-Novi, where also open-air fruit/veg and fish markets can be found. Cafes and restaurants, most with an amazing view of the bay, serve excellent cappuccino, beer, good quality wine, and very tasty food. The Express restaurants have been very popular serving home-cooked meals for about 3-6 euros per person, with at least 10 various dishes from casseroles, to roasts and fish (eat in, or take away). The newly open 5 *****Lazure Marina, Beach and Spa Resort can be found in Meljine and can be reached within a 10-15 min drive from the villa.

The pool is available May 1st - October 31th (above ground pool measuring 10m (33ft) x 5m (16.5ft) x 1.30m (4.5ft)). Sun loungers and a parasol by the pool.

NB. the pool is accessed via portable steps and may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

Our Manager will meet you on arrival at a recognizable spot near the property, from where you will follow him to the villa. I will be at the villa to meet you on your arrival. He will attend the pool and garden every other day. I will be available 24/7 for any questions and emergencies. At the villa, you will find a Guest Book where our previous guests have written reviews of places you must see, restaurants to eat in, and other information that may be of interest to you. How do damage deposits work?

If Jan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
