Description

This contemporary holiday cottage has an open plan living area, luxury bathroom and beautiful bedroom. You'll find handmade soft furnishings, Villeroy and Boch bathware, Grohe shower, Smeg appliances, Dualit kettle and toaster and Sony LED HD Smart TV with freeview, WiFi and iPod connectivity. There is Indian limestone flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a logburner.

The accommodation is designed and set out to an exceptionally high standard and you will feel warm and cosy as soon as you step into this tranquil setting. Fresh flowers and basic supplies will be there on your arrival along with a bottle of wine to enjoy during your stay.

The entrance through double doors, leads into an open plan sitting/dining room, featuring the original oak beams and decorated in neutral warm colours. The warming wood burner (basket of wood provided), along with underfloor heating throughout, ensures you will be cosy throughout your stay.

The very comfortable living area with large sofa bed leads into a spacious and fully equipped hand made kitchen providing a Smeg electric oven and hob, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer.

Hope Cottage has one charming double bedroom, featuring a beautiful cast iron bed and plenty of comfortable pillows. This leads to the bathroom which has both bath and rain shower. Baylis and Harding toiletries, Egyptian cotton towels and robes are provided.

Although the cottage has one bedroom, there is a large sofa bed which could accommodate more guests if required.

Hope Cottage enjoys its own private courtyard and garden, brimming with beautiful lavender, roses and shrubs.

This cottage is perfection personified ... faultless in every way, beautifully furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard, equipped like no other cottage we have stayed in, we needed for nothing, best complimentary hamper ever received, Jenny and Alan were the perfect owners and helpful when asked. The cottage is situated 10 or so miles North of Brighton and ideal for exploring the surrounding area and a great base to come home to ... we did not want to leave

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
