You may also be interested to know that we don't take pets in the cottage and it's cleaned to a very high standard. This is important to many parents of young children.

The cottage is also perfectly suited for couples seeking a romantic rural retreat to relax and unwind away from the everyday stresses of a busy life making memories you'll take away with you and remember forever.

The cottage’s central position near the Devon/Somerset border allows easy access to the beach and the South West’s attractions.

“Awesome time....outstanding cottage”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2013

Thank you to Sarah for the making our stay so perfect. Attended a friends wedding and from start to finish nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and the boys. Loved waking up to the sounds of the country...peace and quiet and nature. Cake and welcome hamper just amazing. Chickens were wonderful and very entertaining although we didn't have any eggs we rushed out to look every morning. We will certainly book again.

“Excellent cottage, friendly welcome”

“You will definitely return!”

Windover Farm Cottage is an beautiful cottage in an idyllic place. Whether you are after a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life or a holiday for your family to spend time together this is the ideal place to visit. The cottage stunning and the views when you open the door are second to none. Sheamus and Sarah are very hospitable and the Victoria Sponge Cake on arrival is to die for!! Having your own chickens provide fresh eggs each morning. There are many walks around the charming countryside and a short drive in the car can take you to many of Devons' gorgeous beaches. If you visit Windover Farm Cottage, there is one thing for certain, you will return.

“Idyllic country getaway in charming English cottage”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2013

This cottage was an amazing, idyllic country escape from the fast pace on London. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. We spent 4days/nights cooking, eating, drinking and playing board games by the log fire. Very secluded location, does narrow laneways, which had huge appeal for us. Owners were friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again.
