From the owner

High Farm, Beadlam Rigg is located within the North York Moors National Park, just off the A170 which runs between Helmsley and Scarborough, 4 miles from Helmsley & 6 miles from Kirkbymoorside. We are a family friendly site, ideally located for exploring the nearby market towns of Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Thirsk and Pickering and it's just over 45 minutes drive out to the Coast at Scarborough or to York for a bit of culture and shopping! Ryedale itself and the surrounding National Park also has an abundance of tourist attractions to offer.

We only have one static caravan within its own enclosed parking and garden area so you don't have to share your holiday with anyone else (-if you don't want to!). The Caravan itself is located adjacent to the farmyard with fantastic view south across our garden and the Vale of York beyond. The spacious modern caravan sleeps up to 6. The accommodation comprises a double room, two twin rooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. The beds in one of the twin rooms can be folded away making it ideal for a baby in a travel cot (a travel cot & high chair are provided within the caravan) or even just a separate room for extra luggage.

The caravan is insulated and has double glazing. The bathroom has a decent shower, that has a plug in the tray so it can also double up as a baby bath for our younger guests too. All kitchen facilities are provided as well as TV and DVD player. For those of you who are really organised Tesco, Asda Morrisons & Sainsbury will deliver your food shopping to caravan and there is a good size fridge freezer to accommodate everything for the week. In the interest of other guests we do not allow pets within the static caravan (this includes our cats who may try to befriend you!) and there is also a no smoking policy.

Through the School holidays we only take week long holidays and the change over day is Friday.

The caravan is heated by our Biomass Boiler there is also 50Mbps WiFi available within the caravan.

How do damage deposits work?

If Ailsa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
