Meadowbank is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom holiday house for rent that sleeps up to 7. Situated in the picturesque village of Manaccan, South Cornwall, and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is the perfect location for a holiday cottage close to the Helford River.??Within easy walking distance to St. Anthony and the Helford River with their delightful sheltered beaches, it is ideal for both family holidays and walking holidays. This self catering property is spacious and comfortable offering accommodation for 6 to 7 people. Facing south, it is extremely light and sunny and its elevated position ensures the pretty garden offers a tranquil spot for relaxing or eating outside. ??Unusually for a holiday let, it has full central heating and an open log fire it is therefore ideal for breaks throughout the year. Meadowbank offers a rare and peaceful haven and yet it is just a stone's throw from a quaint, thatched pub, the village church, famous for the fig tree growing in the wall of the tower and the convenient post office and stores. For those wishing to be spoilt, the popular and nearby bistro 'South' is an unusual asset in such a quiet village.

Lovely cottage, comfortable warm and welcoming. Thoughtful welcome pack and milk in fridge, great touch of fresh flowers picked from the garden in vases around the house. Very peaceful, but personally for us a little too remote. All the locals are very friendly, the local pub "The Ship Inn" is great for food and the staff are brilliant. Can also recommend "Sid's chip van" which parks at the top of the village on a Tuesday evening, best fish and chips ever! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable week.

Located in a small village with practically no traffic and the air was so fresh, coming from the Midlands this was a lovely retreat but not isolated. Beaches were easy to reach and as we are all National Trust members there were several houses/gardens in the area for us to visit. The accommodation was great for us as our party consists of grandparents, daughter and her husband and 3 boys aged 8, 5 and 2. The boys shared a room ( a foldable bed in the upstairs room was brought down for the little one) and bathroom whilst the adult couples had a shower room each. The property was clean and well furnished, not many breakables making it ideal for young ones. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was really appreciated. The food at the village pub was good as was the local beer. Would also recommend the fish and chips from the travelling van which called into the village on Tuesdays. We all enjoyed our 2 weeks break here.

How do damage deposits work?

If Francis (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
