"The Most Amazing Little Place EVER"
I had to pleasure of staying at the Coach House @ Carloch for a week and it was the most enjoyable stay I've ever experienced. The owners were so sweet and continually told us if we needed anything to just ask.I honestly just felt so welcomed. The cottage was so well kept up and so clean. Fully furnished kitchen had everything we needed. The gardens were beautiful. Pictures do no justice to this property. Its in the perfect location to see many things. You can't go wrong here. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Planning on coming back next year and staying again. Thank you to the owners for everything. You made my first stay in Scotland wonderful!
Thank you so much Alexis for taking the time to review The Coach House, we are so glad you enjoyed your first trip to Scotland. It would be great to see you again next year.

"A wonderful place to unwind in a beautiful part of Scotland."
I was looking for a place to stay so that I could attend a wedding in Helensburgh and from the moment I found the Coach House, I couldn't have been happier. Upon first contact the owner replied promptly and was clearly keen to answer my queries to ensure that they could provide what I needed. Upon arrival we were welcomed warmly and I felt like the owner was genuinely glad to have me as a guest. The pictures of the property hardly do it justice. The garden including the burn is a wonderful place to be on a sunny afternoon. With the shore of Gare Loch a short walk away, it's very easy to relax. The property comfortably slept 4 of us and would easily take 5. The dining table in the kitchen would be cramped with a larger party but to be fair, the owner did tell me that in advance and there's always the option to eat outside in the sun. The beds were very comfortable and were commented on favourably by the entire party. With regard to transport, I can't comment on local bus services but from the location my impression is that you're better having someone in the party with a car. Alternatively the local taxi services provide decent value for money. Sadly my stay wasn't long enough to comment on the local activities but if you're looking for a place to relax, or to use as a base to see Scotland, my brief stay was enough to convince me it would be a good choice. I certainly look forward to my next visit.
Thank you so much for your review, and very happy that you enjoyed your time here. It certainly is a very relaxing place as you say, and very close for the venue you attended the wedding at (Rosslea Hall Hotel Rhu) I am sorry I didn't get to meet you all, but I am sure you were well looked after by my husband, I hope we can meet in the future.

"Above and beyond everything we wanted!"
Brilliant place to visit. To start helen and stephen very welcoming making us feel at ease straight away. Only had two days here but they were everything we were looking for just a quiet relaxing weekend away. The cottage was lovely alot more spacious than it seems in the photos exceeding all our needs. Garden was beautiful and loved the little stream running through the sound of the water trickling away was magic just out your front door. Would be great to spend time out there in summer. Typical scottish weather didn't give us too much sun over the two days but didn't dampen spirits at all. The local areas are close enough to explore with stunning views all round. All in all not one bad thing to say. Whatever your looking for you can't go wrong here, would highly recommend if your looking to visit the area.
Thank you M & M for taking the time to write about your time here, so glad you enjoyed the birthday get away here. I do hope we can welcome you back in the future.

"Great base, location, accommodation and welcome"
I would heartily recommend this rental for any couple, small group or family looking for a cozy, well equipped base to explore this great area of Scotland. Helen and Stephen were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast pack made available before our arrival was just the ticket.
Thank you for your review, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay.

"A delightful stay - highest modern standards in a beautiful old house and garden."
We spent 10 days in the Coach House @Carloch and could not be happier about our time there. All facilities were as described and in a perfect condition. Highest quality products used throughout the cottage. A fantastic double bed and very good mattresses. We slept like babies :) TV, DVD, heating, shower; everything modern and in a great condition. From the exhaust system to the high quality knives, great equipped kitchen. A towel and linen change was provided after our first 5 days. The garden is a wonderful place with huge old trees, bridges over the little stream and heavy, original stoneworks. Just a hundred yards from the properties access to the loch we cought mackerels. Ask the owners to use the barbecue when you get some. Lots of information material about the area, maps, timetables, menues of the local bars etc. is provided, even a collection of DVD´s to enjoy a lazy evening with your dram in the living area. At the time of our stay, Steven, one of the owners, cared most lovely and interested for all the questions we had and we enjoyed very much the chats with him. We adopted many of his tips and recommendations, from walks to restaurants and places to visit and never got dissapointed. We will surely come back for a second time.
Thank you so much Sascha & Paulina for a wonderful review, Stephen & I are delighted that you enjoyed your stay here. We both hope you will return, and thank you for the wonderful pictures you sent us from your stay.
