From the owner

Situated in the Handschuhsheim district of Heidelberg in a charming farmhouse conversion, this peaceful, self contained two bedroom apartment comprises one double and one single bedroom with seating for up to 4 people in the former and a lovely antique davenport in the latter. We have arranged the rooms partly with antique wooden furniture which create a particularly warm and natural atmosphere. In case you care about nature and ecology: the blankets and pillows are springless and made of plant fiber.
A well equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher and washing machine, and a bathroom with separate toilet make up the rest of the accommodation.
A little terrace surrounded by roses offers a space to relax during the summer days.
The street is a traffic-calmed area which makes it a quiet area, although it is very centrally located.
The local area has many things to offer with convenience stores and well established bars and charming restaurants in the surrounding streets.
A few minutes' walk will take you to the tram which will take you either in direction to Bismarckplatz in about six minutes to start your discovery of the beautiful city of Heidelberg, or to the Neuenheimer Feld and the railway station.

Smoking is allowed only on the terrace. Access to Wi-Fi is offered on request.

PLEASE NOTE: In case you are using a GPS, programm it for Gilberts Goldener Adler in Handschuhsheimer Landstraße which is just around the corner because experience has shown that the GPS doesn't locate the Untere Büttengasse properly.

Heating: please let me know whether the temperature is right for you; please don't manipulate the handle at the radiator of the double bedroom and even less the electronic modulator which defines the warming of the whole first floor. (no problem with the smaller bedroom).
Please DON’T SMOKE INSIDE the house, but on the cute guest-terrace. A local artisan ashtray is waiting for you :)
The antique furniture is only treated with wax: Please don't place anything hot, warm, wheat or oily
